    Help for controlling relationship

Hi ladies I need some advice please.

What can you do if you are in a very controlling relationship? Over the past years he has slowly cut me off from most of my friends and family, plus they all live on the other end of the country so I can't go see any of them. I was young and nieve before but now I am waking up to my harsh reality

What can I do? Everytime I try to talk with him, he twists it around on me and tries to say it is my fault even though I know better. I tried to ignore it for a long time, hoping it would get better but I know it won't but what can I do?

I have barely any family who speaks to me (thanks to him), no friends (also thanks to him), he controlls all the money, I have no phone and I am not allowed to use his, it has a password and I do not know it) and my car is also dead...if I talk to anyone he has to know exactly who, where, when and why, and I can't even go out because if I do I get interogated for hours, so I'm pretty stuck... is there anything I can do or any place I can get help or at least some advice?

Thank you so much to anyone

This has all the signs of a seriously abusive relationship. You need to get out NOW.

You have access to a computer so you may be able to email friends to find a safe place to stay. Be careful - he may be able to spy on your computer use. If he has access to this computer, you may want to wipe the history.

A little more information would help with advice: How old are you (roughly)? Any children? Do you have a job - or any job skills. What part of the country are you in?

Please don't disappear - let us know what happens. Don't wait to act on this.

If you do not have anyone to contact, let me know by PM what part of the country you are in. I will see if I have any contacts there.

rcoreyus is correct, please heed his advice. Feel free to PM me as well.

Can you go to the local library and use the computers there while he is at work? That way he cannot track who you contact on the internet.

Begin making a plan to get out NOW! Do not let him know about it either.
Open a secret bank account and start saving money, first thing. Do not have the statement sent to your house or he will find out about it.

You are in an abusive relationship in every way but physical. He has systematically isolated you from the outside world. Please try to contact your family and let them know what is going on. If he monitors your calls, write them a letter. Please let someone in your life know what is going on in your home. If you go to the store you can buy the kind of cell phone that you pay as you go... even if you put $10 on the phone so you can call your old friends or family - and trust me, they still love you and want to hear from you - call someone and tell them about your situation.

Please let us know how you are doing.

I don't know why that is - maybe the site admins can help. Otherwise post what you can here.
If not, I have generated a temporary email at richardcory84*yahoo.com
if you have email you can reach me there. use angel*rose in the letter so I know who you are. Note, this is a temporary email, it will soon go away.

It just occured to me that your BF may have limited your computer use. If you are doing this on your home computer he can track everythign you have written. If, so, get out now, today, immediately. He is not likely to be happy that you are looking outside for help.
