and the most important thing for women is that we feel desired/wanted/loved.
I think people in general need to hear that more, because everything else can sort itself out if those three ingredients are in place... Sometimes people mistake "sex" for being desired, or wanted or loved, not the case, it is a form of passion outlining those things and showing same, in a loved relationship.

    Good point to "point out"...

And, yes, Pheobe get back here more often we miss you as well.

I am 31 and have only been married for 2 months. Over the last 6 months my husband has been having trouble becoming erect and since we were married we have hardly been able to become sexual. I appreciate what is being said about the commercials on TV and the issue looking so simple. The thing is, dealing with and talking about the issue with your partner is a lot more difficult. I have tried acting like it's not a big deal, being overly sexual, or supportive and turn it towards the medical route. I'm sort of stuck at this point because my husband gets angry and hurt and I'm also feeling angry and hurt. It's hard to not take it personal and I really miss him. Any ideas???

Look into other posts made by Phoebee. She has a lot of great insight on this issue.
Well some people say that you shouldn't tempt fate, and for them I can not disagree. But I never learned nothing from playing it safe; I say fate should not tempt me. I take my chances.

I am not a doctor, just sharing my knowledge regarding ED. There are various prescription drugs to get over erectile dysfunction and male impotence like Viagra, Levitra and Cialis, but such medicines should only be used in accordance with the instruction of a physician. There is a lot of fake selling of such medicines on internet, so before you can order it online just make sure that it is a real pharmacy. The best thing you can do is to consult your GP.

Marcus bless you! Your so right about the need to involve a real doctor in this and not to trust these Internet "dope dealers" As I said in another post DH bought some of this stuff and we really thought it was going to kill him.

His eyes were bugging out, his heart was beating about 5x too fast and his face was bright red. He told me he was worried he was having a stroke or a heart attack and while he did have a erection it wasn't use-able because (as he said) he was too busy trying not to die.

When he first went to talk to his doctor he was so scared he said he nearly wet himself but the doctor was SO great. She told him that it wasn't a big deal. That lots of men had to deal with this and that it was an easy thing to fix (All of which was true)

He told me that at first he was ashamed to pick up his prescription. That he was sure people were laughing etc. Now??? He has a Viagra Coffee mug and I'm sure if there was a T Shirt he would wear one! ;-) Sex with Viagra is pretty amazing even vrs pre ED.

The main thing is do this without using illegal drugs and DO involve your doctor so you can find out why. Some of the most common reasons are things that you really DO want to know about.

Phoebee, thanks for your great post and for sharing something so private to help others!

My S.O. and I are going through issues with ED. Until I read your posts and then read up some more on ED I had taken this problem so personally and blamed myself for his inability to perform. We have gotten into a couple of arguments because of this problem and up until I found this forum I was seriously thinking that I was ugly and he didnt want me in that way at all. I have had fleeting thoughts of leaving the relationship but my heart has been telling me to stick with it because I do love him so very much. To me it had seemed suspicious that this problem would present itself "overnight". But reading what you have gone through, and educating myself more on this issue, I realize now that it can happen overnight. To think I had all of this self blame, I was being so self involved to see that it may be something more serious health wise.

I have asked him to see a doctor but he is hesitant to do so as it would look "weak" and he would be embarassed. I am frustrated in all aspects of the word to say the least. How do I get him to the doctor? I worry for his health first and foremost.

Thanks for your posts again....you have helped me and i'm sure so many others!

Feeling sad and he says he feels worse.....

He6y I am newbee, in this subject I hunted for this group to get some support
from. I am severly depressed as my hubby has abandoned me and he does
not even try to use the Viagra the Dr. gave to him. It's taking a toll on my
pride. I feel so lost in our relationship. There seems to be a huge silence.
If anyone can give me some pointers on how to deal with this matter.
I am desperate. I don't want to go to another man. I am only human though.
How does one except this , after twelve yrs of having a healthy sex life.
I really hope to hear from someone.

There are about 15 million to 30 million men who have been going through this problem.Impotence, even know as erectile dysfunction, is likely to have an effect on a very large number of men all over the world.Amongst the most common causes of Impotence are conditions that hamper blood flow or circulation, for example coronary diseases, arteriosclerosis, atherosclerosis and hypertension.

Generic Viagra, Generic Levitra and Kamagra are the most effective generic drugs for treatment of Erectile Dysfunction in men. Impotence is a common laymen term usually used for Erectile Dysfunction (ED). Generic Viagra works by maintaining erection of their organ, when sexually excited. Generic Viagra is bluish in color, and is taken whenever a man wants to have sexual intercourse.Viagra a very commonly name heard by almost all of us is mainly named as Sildenafil citrate as its chemical name. it is used as a commonly used oral medication for the erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. It was first developed by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. Viagra or sildenafil citrate, Cialis or tadalafil and Levitra or vardenafil hydrochloride. All are safe, effective and popular. The problem arises when a choice has to be made.In cases of Erectile Dysfunction cGMP is neutralized by PDE-5 resulting in either a flaccid erection or complete absence of erection.

Oh Gracy, I can SO relate! I'm new here as well and have searched for a support group for quite a while.

My husband has had ED since we've been married. At first it was sporadic but he went on anti-depressant in 1992 and has had ED permanently since then. I love him but it's so hard not to stray. I almost have but I want to keep my vows. It's true that your pride will be hurt and you will feel like it's all your fault. Just remember, it's NOT!! I think that's why this message board is here so that we can support each other.

Looking for some advice or suggestions... I was married in June to the man of my dreams.. I knew before we were married he had ED but our sex life was amazing...now it's non existent. We lived together for a year before we were married and both of us have been married before. I was in a very loveless marriage before (not from ED but because he was a mean person)and now it seems to be finding it's way back to haunt me. I know my husband loves me very much and I knew it was hard for him to talk to me about ED, but I've been very supportive and even gone and picked up his meds for him. When I try to initiate sex he just wants to hold me, am I doing something wrong ? Why did everything seem to change after we were married .....
