I used to like it. Then I started getting break through bleeding constantly and acne.
Due to the bone loss you shouldnt be on it for more than 2 ys at a time. -

It virtually saved my life.
I was very anemic, used to have hemorages called
menstruation...and by stopping menstruation for a
year I was able to recover.
I find that taking a shot, taking one three months later.
then taking none for a year...(allowing a normal period
or two) ... then going back was the method I used.

What is breakthrough bleeding? (don't laugh) I have not had an actual period since I can remember but I do get cramps every so often and kinda feel like Im going to start but do not and it always falls when I used to have my period ( I know because me and my mom where * the same time) but now I am bleeding a lil not even enough to use something but some and it looks like "old" blood did any one else have that? But either way I like the shot and its worked so far!![♥]Jessica Dawn[♥]Comment

I would have that continuous old brown blood for weeks at a time. It drove me nuts !! Then I switched to the Lunelle. Which is another injection that they dont even make anymore !Comment

I used to spot just before the third month ... and get another injection...
spotting stopped. Wouldn't get my period for like six months...a year.
I didn't take the injection until I got my period again...so that I had
breaks...Comment

Nope.
I have bled through a super tampon, large pad
a panty and a pair of tights.
the amount of blood, the amount of pain?
Blessed little menopause.
