    Questions about seasonique BC pills...

I'm probably going to start seasonique soon, but I have a couple questions before I go to the Dr. next week.
-This would be my very 1st time ever taking birth control pills and would be taking them solely for the purpose of regulating my period.

    here are my questions:
-If breakthrough bleeding occurs, how long does it typically last for?
-When does breakthrough bleeding occur? (as in how soon after starting it could I expect this to happen)
-Is it possible I wouldn't get any breakthrough bleeding at all?

    Thank you!

The breakthrough bleeding is random. It can occur at any time. I generally experienced it around the time I should be having my period.

Everybody is different, so you may or may not experience it.

Any reason why you are going with Seasonique vs a monthly pill? Just out of curiosity because I hated Seasonique.

Primarily because the 4 periods a year sounds appealing. What about it made you hate it? I'm not 100% set on it yet, just trying to do some research beforehand

Yeah, it sounds appealing. I thought it would be a GREAT idea. However, for me, it compounded 3 months of PMS and when I finally did have a period, I was a mental case. It is the same thing as Depo but in pill form. Which Depo did the same to me too, so I'm not sure why I though Seasonique would be any different, but I gave it a shot for a year.

You may try it and like it, just make sure you do plenty of research before making your decision.
