    Your doctor's office should look into it for you, given your insurance information. If they don't, that's TWO strikes against them - your doctor doesn't listen to you about what you want in birth control AND they don't want to assist you in getting them paid!

      Hmm... i didn't know that. She told me I would have to check with my insurance first.

        Is it a very small office or something? I went to a clinic - the same one that I went to for my prenatal care - and they had an insurance department with at least two employees. They were very willing to find out from my insurance what things would cost for me and explore different options. For example, with the Mirena, they figured out that if they prescribed it to me and let me pick it up from the pharmacy for insertion, it would cost less than if they billed it straight from the office! We all deserve such dedicated care.

          Well it's a prevea clinic with like 5 floors, lol...so its larger. I don't know. Next time I am going to request a different doctor. As for now...i am very confused on what to do.
