The title of this thread makes me wince.

I could not imagine anyone plucking pubic hair.

I can only pluck if it's a stray hair that waxing didn't catch, otherwise it's just too painful. To save money, I started waxing at home (with the help of a willing and very patient partner, lol). I use Mermaid Wax (which is really nice on the skin and easy to use) and bought their starter kit which included a basic wax melter. We watched some videos on YouTube that explained the basics of waxing (the Mermaid Wax channel is great for this), and while it's not as good as going to a salon, its so much more affordable. I spend $45 or so every 3-4 months to buy new wax instead of $75 every month at a salon. Plus, I wax my eyebrows and other areas with it, too.

I have plucked my pubic hair for probably 20 years now and now very little grows back. The thick pubic type hair doesn't grow, just the hair that is say on my stomach. From any distance it looks like I don't have pubic hair and what there is can be easily removed.
