Before that night, I never knew they had the same issue, but they all did in varying degrees. Made me feel better. :-)
I think most if not all women grow nipple hair. My g/f had her nipple hair lasered.

Many years ago I dated a girl who'd pluck her nipple hair before she'd get in bed with me.

I think women make a issue of where hair grows, and most men don't care.

WaveRider - I agree. There is a man here and there who thinks body hair on women is "gross" and those men are the ones who make us self conscious.

We're mammals. We all have hair all over. It's just a matter of how long and thick it grows. One of the most beautiful, feminine women I've ever seen (or been with) had a weird, thick, silver whisker that grew out of her nose. It amazed me because it looked more like something that belonged on one of the cats I had at that point than a human.

On the flip side, one of the things I recently told my wife that made her feel a lot better is that men have little insecurities about masculinity too. My little cousin recently told me he was doing tons of push-ups daily because his chest is flabby and unmasculine. He's a manly guy, though. In my opinion he's a handsome man. I confided in her that I have a similar feeling about my chest. It's muscular, but I have big nipples - that's a feminine trait. I had never shared that with her.

No one is the perfect picture of feminine or masculine beauty. We all have flaws.

I would say that the ideals are flawed since they are so far from obtainable for most. I prefer natural as opposed to a person looking like they were Photoshopped.

            Have you tried doing electrolysis?
            electrolysis works better than plucking

I get hair on my chin: I just pluck them. Still, it's annoying! I should really wax them: in fact, I may do so. I'll stick to the tweezers in the meantime!

I did wax on my face and it was a diaaster. I got bruises. The skin on the face is too delicate for it.

Gah, the dreaded chin hairs! I have a female friend who is a comedienne and she had a really good skit about that and I didn't realize I had them, too...it was like TADA! one day I woke up and had them. They're so irritating. My body hair is black and coarse so it's not like I can really get away with them since they're pretty obvious against my skin tone, even though I'm not fair-skinned at all.

I mostly pluck them with a tweezer but the hair almost never grows back lighter or thinner (contrary to how it often works on other parts of the body). I also strangely have "white" chin hairs but when I run my fingers across my chin, they're super hard and thick so I can feel them easily. When I pluck them, the other half is black. It's insane.

I've tried waxing and it's good for catching the lighter baby chin hairs that I can't always pluck myself but I never have time to do waxing to keep up with it. So I use tweezers for real time plucking BUT when I get mad I'll just shave it in the shower.

Not sure I want to do electrolysis, mainly because I don't have a high threshold for pain. I can't remember if the electrolysis method is ideal for darker skin? So many hair removal methods/devices are only made for lighter skin tones and often say in the instructions or commercials that it's not ideal for darker skin. That's extremely frustrating.
