Any new information?

My God, glad to know I'm not the only one feeling this strangeness. I had sex with my boyfriend last night and just afterwards, this strange humming sensation started on the epidermal area of my left labia- and again this morning, lasting on and off all day! At first I got worried that it might be some kind of cyst...but I can't feel anything. I just finished my period...anyone have similar contexts?

If it keeps happening I'm going to schedule an appointment with my Doctor...I'll keep you guys posted.

vibrations

i too am experiencing vibrations, usually when sitting at my desk. am eager to hear if anyone has a medical/psychological explanation for this? thought it was my cell phone at first....very bizarre....

Oh I am so glad to see this forum has this topic! This started with me yesterday - this buzzing/vibrating inside, like my cervix or something. It is very rhythmic, but not enjoyable - just annoying. I totally freaked out and was wondering if there was any possible way a bug could have gotten up there or something!!! But it was just so rhythmic, every 5 seconds, I could set a metronome to it! Honestly feels like I am sitting on a cell phone that is vibrating - and I only really notice it when I am sitting down. I even went and put a tampon in to see if that would help stop it, even though I am not on my period. No luck. I hope it is just some strange nerve impule - like hiccups - and that it will just go away. It is very distracting. I am anxious to hear from any of you if you have any news on it. In the meantime, I take comfort that other people are experiencing this and I am not some complete freak of nature.

I know exactly what you mean girls. I have started paying attention on the rare occasions that this occurs with me and I think it's the beginning of when that area is about to "fall asleep" (similar to a leg or arm). I have been sitting for awhile and it must have cut off the blood supply or something because it's felt exactly like when your leg falls asleep, except "down there". When I first feel the vibrating sensations, if I move and readjust my seating position, nothing falls asleep..but if I stay still, eventually the hoo hoo will take a nap. Being female is SOOOOO crazy. This might just be my own personal experience with the "falling asleep" part, but I thought I'd share anyway.

I, too am thrilled that there is a forum for this topic...I just wish one of us could figure out what it is! My twitch, tingle, vibration issue has been going on for three days now and it is getting rediculous! I thought about a bug accidentally finding his way there as well, Eww!...Gives me the hee-bee-gee-bees, just thinking about it!! Hee, Hee!

My minds a wander with all of these thoughts on what it could be or how I can stop it! I wasn't even sure how to describe it...but you guys have summed it up perfectly and yes it's most annoying when I am not doing anything in particular...so odd!

Let's hope one of us comes up with an answer....soon!!

Glad for the company

Gosh I am SO glad that there are other people here going through this. I know I already posted, but was sitting here and noticing the vibration AGAIN and thought I would check to see if anyone has answers. How do I even BRING THIS UP to the doctor? I mean obviously I am not nuts here since you all have the same thing. I am scheduled to have a hysterectomy soon and have these strange visions of the doc's scalpel vibrating from whatever this weirdness is!

I don't think, for me, it is the "hoo hoo falling asleep". I can feel when I am walking sometimes, too.

This is so darn strange. Please if anyone comes up with any news, post. Or even if you are experiencing this, too, please post! The more people that share their experience, the closer we can get to figuring this "buzz" out!

Still vibrating...still no explanation!

Checking back in...I found on WebMD where a Dr. keeps getting questions about this odd issue, she said she has tried to research it numerous times and have come up with nothing! What gives! I just wish it would stop already! Seems like the vibrations are gettting longer in pulse! What's a girl to do???

Anyone else find anything out...or by chance, have your issues stopped??

Vibration in Vagina

I too have begun to feel this vibration in my vagina. It started about 30 hours ago. I made an appointment to to see the doctor today and she had no idea what I was talking about. I think she even thought that I was making it up. I have been referred to get a pelvic ultrasound. I'll let the forum know the results.

For the time being, I am glad to know that I'm not crazy!

Finally! It is GONE!

I am super happy to report that the vibration is now gone! Don't know how, Don't know why but I am exctatic! I was laying in bed last night and all of a sudden it dawned on me...HEY I'm not vibrating any more! So there is hope for you ladies. Still super curious as to what it was though and I sure hope it doesn't come back... good luck to you all!! (oh happy day!! )

Just joined the club!

Hi everyone. I got really worried lastnight when I got the vibrations and they lasted for about 5 minutes two times in a row. I had been doing regular household chores, went up a flight of stairs, walked around abit then laid in bed on my back. After about 4 minutes it started. It was on one side of my pubic area near the bikini line. It wasn't like a twitching nerve but must be some kind of nerve actiity. I got it again while standing and looking at something in a store today at 2pm.

I am 37 years old, taking Birth control pills (on the 12th pill today) and Armour (hypothyroidism). I also have PCOS Syndrome. I am 40 pounds overweight. I did 1/2 hour jogging this morning and 1/2 hour strength training and my feet have been tired all day. I have been doing that for 3 months now.

If everyone posts some details like this we may find a commonality such as everyone is taking birth control pills or everyone is overweight (I hope not!) This may help us figure out what is causing it. I didn't post what I ate today as I don't think it could be the cause.
