I have aLARGE HARD lump on ( side) of vaginal area, it hurts, please help.

Hello, A few days ago I got a hard small lump on the top of my eyelid. I thought it was a stye. It went away & did hurt for a day only.

Last night I woke up with a similar lump but much larger on the vaginal area( were its more skin on the side ) not in the actual vagina area but, NOT in the crease were your underwear goes either but in between .

I did fall asleep wearing these flanel type pajamas that dont let your body breathe, so then I changed & I noticed it was there. Is this is possibility ?

Iam worried because I keep noticing weird symptoms, before my period smelled weird too . thanks so much

I assume you're talking about the vulva where hair grows? It sounds like a hair follicle has got infected (common) and filled with pus. Basically you should apply hot (not burning just as warm as you can comfortably stand) compresses a few times a day to bring it to a head and then it should burst by itself. If it doesn't it will just gradually go away but they go quicker once they've burst. However, resist the urge to squeeze it because this can make it alot worse!!

I've had several of these and they just appear out of the blue, some have burst quickly and disappeared rapidly and others have needed the compresses. I found a piece of cotton wool soaked in hot water and lavender essential oil applied to the area until it cools several times a day usually gets the head where it should be then they just burst as you go about your business. They're only like a big spot so nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't think so unless it was just a bit of bacteria, the two probably aren't related, I doubt you touched your eye then immediately touched your vulva. Sometimes if you look closely at these lumps on the vulva you can see the head just below the skin and the object of using the compresses is to bring that right up to the top. I once squeezed one and I had it for literally months because it isn't a wise thing to do so just try and encourage the head closer to the surface so it can burst and it gives instant relief once it has done. I get them a few times a year for no apparent reason, some people are just prone to them. Once it bursts you can try applying a thin layer of antiseptic cream to keep bacteria out if you think it needs it.
