so it's been 1y 9months since my last actual period.
when i got pregnant i was moving around alot and im a bit slow on the feet when getting things done, and i didnt get into a doctor till 7months preg. i had all my tests done they said everything was fine. after i had my daughter vaginally w/epidural, i had the bleeding they said i would have for about a month or less. i have been breastfeeding for 1 year and i heard its normal to not have your period while your breastfeeding. but i've had days throughout the month with random tinges of reds/brownreds 1 time here one time there, and i started to notice that when i had sex it would come on more heavy not bad just like more ting to the toilet paper for that wiping. i've majorly slowed down breastfeeding and i think thats why i've gotten what i think is my period back but its being weird. i had normal 5-7 day periods starting out light then turning brown by the end of the week. this one has been about 11 days long starting off light then going red then light then brown then red again and brown again and so forth. i havent been seen by a doctor since i had my daughter.
is this normal? are periods supose to disapear for a year while breastfeeding? are your periods supose to change after pregnancy?

To some women, it does. I don't think the epidural has anything to do with your period though. To be sure, be checked by an OB-GYN ASAP. Some delays on periods could be a symptom of another health/hormonal issue.

Disappearing periods while breastfeeding? Certainly.

Changes in your body after pregnancy? Certainly.

If you haven't been to the Dr since the birth of your daughter, it would definitely be wise to be seen and have things checked out.

To be honest, it doesn't really sound to out of the ordinary to me. My cycles, body, everything changed after each pregnancy.

You need to see your OB asap, your case doesn't seem normal to me but do not worry so much as I am not a doctor and only them can diagnose and explain properly.
