Red bump on lower left side of vagina

Several months ago, I noticed a small red bump (not even really a bump more like a dot). It was itchy but went away in a few days. However, yesterday I noticed the same red "dot" in the same spot. It started as a "dot", it was itchy and it hurt with touch. Today I woke up and noticed it has grown into a cyst like bump. I have no clue what this is. I would like to get some feedback before I make an appointment with my OBGYN. I just find it odd that its in the same exact spot as it was last time. I also am curious because there is only one spot. Can anyone please give me some input or ease my mind some how? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Well I am not a doctor, but it sounds like it could be a boil. Boils are common in the armpit, face, neck and genitals. Some reasons why you may have a boil there could include poor nutrition or diet, plugged sweat glands or an ingrown hair.

Well, sometimes the pus can spread a little. Is it tender to the touch or does it hurt? I don't think you ever mentioned that in your first thread. If it doesn't hurt I would wait a day or two and see what happens. You may have to call your GYN and see if it is an infection.

not a painful hurt. Just stings. But it doesn't hurt or burn when I pee or anything. Best way to describe it is like when you cut your leg shaving and you get soap or water on it, that initial sting, only when I touch it though. The itching is gone so thats a good thing I guess?!
