    Periods shifting at 34?

    Hi,

I've had weird short 2 or 3 day periods 9 or so months out of 12 in the last year instead of old normal 5 days...wondering if it's perimetapause, or my age?

I just turned 34 and have had shifting periods too. 3 months ago I was a week early and stayed on that schedule, and now I am a week late. Shouldn't be pregnant, husband had a vasectomy, and no boyfriend on the side
Hopefully its just a phase. I hope your questions get answered!

I am 30 years old and have had this same problem. I talked to my doctor about it and he said it was very common for a women's cycles to change as they get older. I have also had heavy white and sometimes green discharge every few days. It has no bad odor, so he said not to be concerned about it. Anyway, goodluck.

I think it's just your body changing as you get more.... "mature". (lol)

Mine used to last 7 days; then after the kids, it shortened to about 5; now I'm down to about 3-4 days.

It's something that happens to us as we see more years in life.
