    Hi ladies,

OK, so far it seems I have had success with the Candaclear! I suggest those of you who haven't tried it yet should get some. You may want to douche or rinse out first with the hydrogen peroxide to get rid of excess bacteria and then use the Candaclear which at the same time kills bad bacteria/replenishes good. I am still taking a multivitamin with folic/b vits./extra vit. d and also taking the acidophilus capsules. I am aware of how much sugar I am eating but by no means avoiding it all together.

Have had sex but had him pull out so as not to disrupt the ph just yet.

        BV Never Goes Away

O.K. I have an odor, with ocassional burning with urination, and a slimy discharge (sorry, gross). I went to the gyn in Nov and she done a wet mount. Said she saw a few clue cells and gave me flagyl. I took it and some of the symptoms seemed not so bad, but never completely went away. I took a second dose of flagyl. Now here I am and I still have odor, occasioanl burning, and a discharge that seems to come and go. Has anyone ever experienced BV that doesn't seem to go away even after treatment, and what do I do about it? Could it be something else?

Yes, that would be the "chronic" version of BV...what all of us unfortunate women are dealing with on this board.

If your doc actually diagnosed you with BV, and your symptoms never went away, and are still the same as they've been at the start, then it's probably a case of chronic BV. If your symptoms have changed, though, or if they went away and came back, you might want to see your doctor again just to be sure.

i bought Candaclear, its the good bacteria, i got it from the USA and it cost a lot to send it to Europe but if you are out of the USA you can google it, there was some on ebay even.
the 1/6 was not clear sorry, i meant 1/6th of a glass, it does not have to be that exactly just half water half hydrogen solution, i use 2 or 3 sqirts from a medium seringe then squirt in some bottled water (not tap water as it has chemicals in it)
then once you have done that, dry off (i do it in the shower) then push up one of the candaclear tabs. I don't know how it will be in the long run yet but so far so good, don't smell bad or feel yuky
good luck let me know what happens. i got this info from bvcures.com, they charged me 40dollars which is a lot considering its a woman like us who found out some stuff and wants to make each person pay that much, its just a pdf, i put some of the info on here already, would like to share the whole pdf but don't know how to make it accessable, can email it i suppose?

I've been meaning to read this thread and update for a while. I've stopped using the Balanc Activ for now, as I've started to find I react to it (I didn't before - very odd), and have gone back to the RePHresh.

react to it? how if you dont mind me asking. when i use the rephresh my discharge always get chunky (sorry for being so graphic) and the chunks seem to stay in a long time.

i just wanted to mention i also tried the h2o2 douche...i think douche is douche...didnt help me at all.
also tried the fem d pills. no use.
and right now i'm broke. i ordered balanced activ put i kno my period will soon be here so i wont start using it until after.

had anyone ever tried femanol? does it work?

The reaction to the Balance Activ is a nasty stingyness! I've had it twice now and I'm too scared to use it again, after a few months of using it successfully.

I'm despairing this morning, as it seems I am constantly alternating between yeast infections and BV. On Saturday I finished my period so used RePHresh, then yesterday a yeast infection started.

It's odd with RePHresh, as it's marketed differently in the UK - it doesn't come with a douche.

It's a big headache for many reasons and I have tried many many solutions, both regular and natural. I believe natural is better personally but it has just been difficult figuring out which is ideal and worth while for me. It would be a long list if I were to bother to tell u all that I've tried so I'll spare you but it's been all the ones you have (folic acid, vinegar, acidophilous ect. etc.). I have finally, finally, finally found something that seems to be working perfectly and is ideal (for the most part) for me. Generally speaking, I think it's important to try and eat as much of a balanced diet as possible (with fruits, whole grains and veggies etc. and I most definitely still take the folic acid just because). Recently, through my online research, I have come across something called 'balance active'. It restores the vagina's PH and specifically meant for this purpose (BV). I use it for 7 days to treat the BV, then as maintenance just twice a week after that for prevention. NO MORE ODOR or anything else troublesome about this condition. I am in my second week and so happy about this, I can't even tell you. It can change a person's life who has had this problem ongoingly with no other success. Also after your period they say can use for 2 days or so and after and during a round of antibiotics. It is so perfect in my opinion. The only issue is I wasn't able to find it in the United States. I had to order it from a site that would ship it here from the United Kingdom and I was DETERMINED to find one that would. The one I used was Asset Chemist because that was the only one I found that sold it 'and' shipped here. I also like to eat yogurt like Activia because of the acidophilous content and the fact that I like it. I just had to share my success in the hopes that someone else can stop suffering. Good luck to all of you.
I looked up the pharmacy you ordered balance activ from...I had been wanting to try balance activ but I live in the US also...So this pharmacy ships to the US? How much is balance activ in US dollars? And is balance activ still working for you?

Also just spent 30 bucks on the Rephresh Pro B. Going to start that today, so if that doesnt work, Balance Activ it is.
rephresh pro b doesn't work...I tried it...someone on here said that it was a miracle for them but it didn't do anything for me
