Second period in one months...cramps and everything

I just finished my period approx 10 days ago. It was a regular period, on time, normal symptoms. Now for the past three days, I had brown/blood discharge. Spotting like that for a day or two is normal for me, so I wasn't too worried. But now it's been really consistent, where everytime I go to the bathroom, there is blood. Today is the fourth day, and the discharge has turned in to bright red blood like if I was on my period again. I am even having slight cramps as well. I am due for my annual in a couple of weeks. I am on Tri-Cylen Lo birth control and take it religiously. We've had sex three times since Friday, June 1st.

    Any ideas??

Brown is just the remaining blood and clots. It is perfectly normal as not everything during a period is pushed out. It is also possible to have spotting again after your period. The cause for concern comes when the clots are big, the size of a quarter or larger for example, or if the bleeding ends up being in substantial amounts or if the cramping gets to be so bad you cannot even get out of bed or move-if it can be taken care of with a simple Advil or Midol then it is not so much of a worry.

Thank you!! Yeah, I usually have a little bit of spotting. I just went to the bathroom, and it's a lot of blood and cramping now. I took a pregnancy test just to rule that out because I heard different opinions about second "periods". It's negative, so that's a huge relief.

I don't think there are causes of worry because it has never happened with you before. But, if it continues the same way, then you obviously need to take some apt and wise steps. I would suggest you to treat this kinds of problems naturally. This is the best way of treating these problems as we all are living in a polluted environment and we all know the side effects of the medicines prescribed. Get well soon.
