Hello. I have quite a weird problem.
A few months ago, I spotted something odd. Something sharp poked my finger somewhere in the area where the clitoris is. It felt exactly like a growing hair, so I thought that it was some pubic hair that had fallen out and landed down there. But after some time, I felt it again! I thought, no loose hair could be trapped in there for such a long time, so I decided to investigate further.
I bent down and searched for the spot where I had felt it (it was incredibly hard to find), but finally I found the cause. And I was shocked to see two hairs growing right under my clit! They were very short, but thick and sharp. Almost looked like needles from a Christmas tree.
I had searched the Internet for solutions, but all I could find was some desperate cries for help from women who had ingrown hair on their clitoris and that it hurt badly. Well, my situation is slightly different from that, the hair isn’t ingrown, and it’s also not on the clitoris, but just below it and it’s also well hidden under folds of skin. I don't feel any discomfort or pain, I hadn’t even spotted it if I hadn’t felt it with my fingers.
Yet, what should I do? I don’t really want to pluck them out because I’m afraid of infections, moreover, it could really get ingrown next time it grows back, and that would be a real problem. I would like to contact a gynecologist, but I’m also not so sure it would help, since we know, that in theory hair doesn’t grow in this area. It could be the first time the doctor sees such a phenomena and couln’t help me either.
Also, I’m thinking that this might somehow be connected with my light hirsutism, I have hair where a woman normally wouldn’t have, like on my belly, my fingers, around the nipples, etc. maybe this could be the cause for my hair growing in such an odd place?
