So where do i begin ok, i had my period about a month ago. My period is crazy before that period my last one was about 5 months ago. Its always been like this. Any who. My period came and went near the end i started having a red/brown mixture im thinking ok when you go your period the old blood comes out witch can be brown its 4 weeks later and i still have i guess you can say a brown discharge some days it is more red and some days it is completely brown. I have had problems with my period com ming on and staying before i was on birth control but i had lost my job and couldnt afford it. (now i have a new job) . But i dont know if it is old period or if its a brown discharge and i need to go get tested. Does any one know what i could do or have been threw this also -
This is just my opinion, but if the period you had before this last one was five months ago maybe the lining of your uterus had thickened a little excessively. When you started last month your body was shedding the lining. The residual bleeding you are experiencing sounds like your body's way of eliminating the thicken lining.
Are you sexually active? Do you use some form of BC?Comment

The old, "oxidized" blood you are seeing is probably because your uterus is not expelling the lining quickly. Again, i think the lining of your uterus had thickened a little more than normal because of the length between periods (five months). How do you feel? (other than nervous from the unknown)
Do you use condoms?Comment
