    1st gyno appt- terrified!

I'm sorry that this is going to so long but here it goes:

I'm 17 and my mom is the conservative type. She's never talked to me about sex, sexual health, or lady anatomy. Because of this, I get very anxious talking about it too. Well here's the problem- for the last two years I've been experiencing the sharp pains deep in my vagina and I've tried to ignore them. They only last a second and are completely random. Recently I've come to terms that I need to see a doctor about it. There are two issues with that:

    1) my anxiety. When I even think about going for an appointment, I start sweating, my heart rate skyrockets, I get nauseous, I get dizzy, I start shaking and trembling, I start to hyperventilate to where it feels like I'm being suffocated, and then I break down sobbing for a good ten minutes. The idea if being exposed in front if a stranger makes my body and mind feel threatened, despite the fact that I know they are professionals. I can't control these feelings no matter how many breathing exercises or calming tricks I try.

    2) having my mother involved is not an option. My mother doesn't listen to me and tries to figure out everything herself. I just want to confide in a physician and I want that to be my personal information, and if she knew she would not allow it. I'm trying to find a good place to go that's cheap. I already called my planned parenthood here and they have me an attitude which worsened my anxiety so I refuse to go there.

I just feel like I'm stuck because I have to either choose to ignore it for ten more months until I'm 18 or have my mother pay but then she'll make my anxiety worse and then ill still end up not going.

Please help with whatever words of wisdom you can offer

Well the number 1 you described sounds like your having panic attacks.
I not sure about the sharp pains in your vagina that's usually associated with your period
What is it that makes you so scared of the gyno?

Being exposed, naked- that kind of thing. And it's not that I'm self conscious of my body or anything in actually quite happy with it! But the whole taking the pants off thing...it gets me in that downward spiral.

Well you under a sheet when you do it and its not fun but it becomes routine after awhile imagine having a baby and 50 people starring at your vagina ( but you won't even care)
You need to have this done to make sure that pain is not a bigger problem when I was 15 I was scared too but my mother told me its just something we women must do in life
        You'll do fine!

I don't have a regular doctor :/ you can take a friend with you right? Like to hold your hand? I think I'll need that. I don't think I can go without a friend there.
