I think statistically the pill is more effective than condoms.
As for using both? Ha.
If someone is willing to completely change their own body and hormones, what is it for if the only difference is a 0.01% difference in the chances of getting pregnant. Sex should be about fun, not fear.
And shweedart, you aren't aware of how poor sex is for a guy with a condom, it's basically not worth it.Comment

I agree with Anon; sex with condoms is the pits. Sometimes it's just necessary, though. Like when the Pill doesn't agree with your body.
The Pill and Condoms have about the same percentage of effectiveness, 99 vs 98%, only if they're used perfectly. The Average Joe is only 85% covered using a condom, whereas the Average Josephine is about 92% covered using the contraceptive pill.
Find the contraceptive choice that is right for you. If condoms dull your sensation like they do to me, find something else. For reference, though, Trojan Condoms are pretty good about sensation and I've never had one break on me.
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
Comment

Shweetdart, I share your problem. I'm usually very responsive but have never been able to orgasm with a condom either. I advocate safe sex every chance I get, but for myself that has taken the form of a monogamous relationship with both being tested first. Have you considered an IUD? No chemicals, nothing to take or remember and as effective as the pill.Comment
