    First Time hurts!

So I'm 21 and last night I "had sex" for the first time (I mean I had sex for like 2 minutes before I was in too much pain so we stopped). I was very turned on and that was not the problem, so I was wondering if the pain does go away or am I gonna be in pain all of my life.
He said it was perfectly normal but I don't know...

The first time is usually never the best. It hurts almost all of the time, but eventually you get to the point where it doesn't anymore. Trust me, none of us women would continue with sex if it hurt for the rest of our lives! It will get easier...the most important thing is having a supporting partner who understands this. And be safe about it! Good luck to you!

I am a virgin and my boyfriend and i are planning to have sex soon, but everyone tells me it hurts alot the first time. I was wondering, how long should we wait to have sex again after the first time?

Depends on the person. I had very little pain the first time I had sex, and only a couple little spots of blood. The pain shouldn't stop you from having sex, as long as you feel emotionally and mentally prepared for sex. Talk to your boyfriend, make sure he understands that he is going to need to take things VERY slow and gentle the first time.

As for how long to wait to have sex a second time, again, it depends. If it hurt A LOT, then you probably need to wait longer than if the pain was minimal. Just listen to what your body is telling you, and don't push it too hard.

Depends, for some it hurts and others not. But it only will hurt a short while. I did a lot of fingering myself with lube and then its a mind over matter thing. If you relax and trust it wont hurt you should be right. If it doesn't stop hurting a trip to a gyn and they can break the hymen in their office takes no time just a bit of pride!

No it definitely should not hurt all your life.
For me, i believe it hurt the first 5-6 times, then for
a little while there it didnt really feel like anything. I mean i
felt it, but there was no pleasure in it. After that, it began to
feel good. Give it time, eventually you should enjoy sex.

If it still hurts after a while, well within reason, you might
want to go to the doctor.

It hurt pretty bad for me the first time for a few minutes then it stopped and i didnt really feel anything. Then the second time and then next i would say 10X after that it hurt for about 20 seconds then it went away and i wouldnt feel anything (I also could FEEL it but there was no pleasure in it) Eventually it stopped hurting all together and after a few more times there was pleasure in it. I was about 15 my first time and didnt feel pleasure till I was nearly 17...

My first actual time having intercourse was not comfortable but was not painful either, but I did not have an intact hymen when I lost my virginity. For the first several years I was having sex I did not enjoy it, it was sometimes painful, sometimes not (depending on the partners care, but was always something I couldn't wait for it to be done and over with even though I totally enjoyed masturbation and could orgasm easily on my own.

But as I got more comfortable with sex in general and became able to communicate my needs either verbally or with physical cues... I've been able to orgasm with my boyfriend fantastically.

I don't think that you will be experiencing the same level of pain the next time you do it, perhaps a little discomfort but after a handful of times the pain will lesson to none unless someone is being rough and you are not wet/lubricated or in certain positions that cause really deep penetration.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
