There was a study on this a few years ago, probably some University (wouldn't you love to be in one of those?) They found that both men and women change their breathing and their bodies go almost rigid with orgasm.
I think in part it's a matter of conditioning. In my youth when a lot of sex was rather clandestine, I was pretty quiet about the whole thing. Now I'm much more vocal and the light of my life really gets off on that. I'm not a screamer but I am noisy. It's more moans, and gasps and such, I don't think I would have the breath for screaming and it would probably distract me from the business at hand.

As The man in my life has noted that when I'm 'in' to it, I can't handle being distracted. I'm focused. Sex play is one thing and for that I can laugh and tease and have fun but when it gets to the real stuff there is only one thing on my mind. I can't do a 69, I'm too responsive. When I'm focused on him, I'm totally focused on him, what I'm doing, how he is responding, taste, scent, texture, sound. When he is pleasuring me, I'm completely immersed in that. Guess I've got a one track mind. He's good at keeping my focus where it needs to be, if I get too deep into myself during sex, he'll pull me back with a slap on the rear or something and I get tuned in to him enough that I cum when he tells me to and no we aren't into a sub/dom relationship, it just 'works' that way.

The mind is the biggest sex tool we have!

After much extensive research, it is possible.

However, it takes the intensity of the orgasm itself...definitely.

... Just doing 'my' bit, best to get the facts - mind you, i was very aware of how unnatural it felt... so, if youre a natural screamer (if such a thing exsists?) i think its entirely plausable to scream during orgasm... if youre the quieter kind, then screaming wont come easily to you, excuse the pun...

Wow, good thing you did the research, you almost had me convinced that the sounds coming out of my Gf's mouth were a figment of my imagination... phew...

I'm not sure about an all out scream during. However, I do get extremely loud but it's not like my throat hurts afterwards.
