As for me oral sex I think is not "sex" it only has the word "sex" because a person gets off.

This gets iffy. Saying oral isn't sex..... Well how would you feel if you walked in on your SO receiving or giving? Bet it would be 'sex' then.
It's situational. Within a relationship I tend to feel that if I don't cum we aren't having 'sex'. By that definition some women have never had sex, but I'm multi orgasmic and highly responsive so -different standard. If I give him a bj and he doesn't reciprocate. WE haven't had 'sex', he got a bj, I got the satisfaction of getting him off. (I am looking into teaching myself to cum giving a bj - doesn't look too hard to do)
The original poster seems to be looking to justify a level of sexual behavior without crossing the boundries of her/their upbringing/religion. Really as Sini pointed out that is a matter of where you get your boundries. That's something they will have to determine for themselves. Personally I encourge you to push your boundries and enjoy as much as you can without getting yourself into guilt trip land. Certainly mutual masterbation. Ever heard of 'spooning' (not the position) at one time it was a 'courting' practice, being on the same bed with a blanket or some sort of soft barrier separating. Bet they weren't just chatting - LOL. People can come up with the most interesting ideas!Comment

I know... a little odd. But it comes from being raised in a controlling home and never getting to know anyone... and now I'm so happy with my boyfriend! I'm glad that we're together. Now I'm out of that controlling situation and am curious as to what everything is... so thanks for the feedback all!!Comment

You're not going to get a clear answer on this, as people have differing ideas. Some people think oral sex counts, while others don't. I've even heard people say that oral sex is just like making out, and that only penetration counts as REAL SEX.
LOL, I think sex the sharing your body parts, whether it involves oral, digital masturbation/fondling, licking the nude body, etc. If you were just kissing and hugging, I wouldn't consider that sex."Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment

I don't want to get all religion on you, because while that is a major part of my life I realize it means squat to others, but our bodies were designed to enjoy sex and once the procedure starts our bodies want to finish it. What this means is that kissing is pleasurable and our bodies want more, touching feels really good and our bodies want more. So basically anything that you do that starts the process can be considered sex.
That said, sex is not a dirty thing. Too many parents in the interest of attempting to curb their child's sexuality ingrain in them that the whole sex thing is dirty. Sex was designed as something beautiful to be shared between two people who love each other. If you decide that sex is in your near future then please protect yourself.Comment
