most may not care, but SOME might, and that could make a difference in a lot of lives. so if something should happen, but we dont think the majority will benefit, do we just give up?? if you change one person, then you in turn might affect hundreds.
and im not saying a class has to be incredibly in depth and technical, because i dont think that thats really going to help. some basic information would be nice. starting with anatomy.....i sure as heck would have loved to have been taught that. it would have saved me some tears! lol
lets say starting now, i think there should be classes. and biology isnt quite the same as sex ed. in my biology class, we only ever concentrated on cells and atoms, and stuff like that. and i remember a section on genes and how you inherit certain physical traits from your parents, but nothing was ever said about sex and human anatomy. i think that needs to be covered in a health class, not biology, becaus if its in a biology class, then i think it will have the potential to be a little too technical, which for a lot of people, is a major turnoff.
