I was wondering if it hurt being on top for the first time? Reason I'm asking is because my boyfriend broke his hand about a week ago and apparently can't put weight on his hand - which mean sex could be out of the question.

The reason I'm somewhat worried about it is because I've only had sex a few times, so it still isn't that great, let alone being on top! I imagine it to be ridiculously exposing and possibly quite embarrassing as I've never done it before.

Why does this have to happen when I want sex...typical.

actually for most women; being on top is great. you hit spots that you didn't know were there. and you have the ability to control the pace and everything. most men actually like that women are on top. i think that you shouldn't worry about how you look although let's admit; we all do. but if you are uncomfortable with it at first you can try it with just a shirt on ... and see how it goes from there.

I agree with yellowpixi with this one...try it with a shirt on and i personally love being on top because of the control. If it hurts just go slowly..he'll understand (if he doesnt tell him its his fault for breaking his hand :P)

Woman on top is also definitely not your only course of action if he can't hold his own weight up.

#1. Try it with him kneeling and you laying in front of him on your back, hooking your legs over his. He can sit completely upright and rock back and forth during penetration.

#2. Doggy style. Can be done standing or kneeling. 'Nuff said. This can also be modified with you laying flat on your stomach, legs together, and him straddling you and penetrating from behind. Very nice.

#3. Spooning. You both lay on your sides, him behind you. I sometimes like to pivot from spooning to making an X shape. He'll still be on his side, but I'll be lying on my back, one leg over his hip, the other in between his legs, so he is penetrating at a new and fun angle. This is an awesome position for some excellent grinding.

Not trying to dissuade you from woman on top sex, because it does rock, but just encouraging you to throw in some more variety to keep him (and you) interested!

Have him use his working hand for good purposes while you are on top. It is your JOB to show him how to thumb a clit.

He will be so excited the first time that you will want to take it slow. You control the pace. The good thing is that if/when you hit your stride you can tell him to simply lie there and not move. Go to your happy "O" place.

Just an update on progress.

So, I managed to do it. I told him that I was nervous as I didn't know what to do, and he said he'd guide me. I didn't really have to do much and to my surprise it didn't hurt! To be honest, it felt better than normal. But I still haven't managed to get to that magic place. I'm just sticking to the fact that it was only my third time. Hopefully it will get better.

Practice makes perfect. On top is the best because you have the control. Guys love for you to grind on them and back/forth/circles also. As someone else already mentioned. His thumb in the right place will do the trick!
