    holding out?

Question: what does it mean when a guy u have been dating for 3 months all of a sudden insist that you (must )almost have to see his place?.........................3 months......i.......... thought our romance had fizzled?.......
after having what i called boring sex........one night after a romantic cruise in long beach and a couple of drinks later HE SAYS i called him BORING!

.......................after 3 months i had often enough told him that i thought our sex life was ...mmmm....o..kk...and that i'd wish he'd step it up (instead of the old man on top woman on bottoM)

i'VE known he plays the guitar.........well there were alot of first times that night.......
He sang to me while he played the guitar......................................
.......and after that we had amazing sex.)............................
well he showed me that same night that he could take care of me in bed............having had serious thoughts about not dating him anymore now i'm wanting to stay!.........HAS HE BEEN HOLDING OUT ON ME???????................
...............PLEASE GET IN ON THIS AND TELL ME WHAT U THINK!..........

oh and if u have questions please ask away.i need to view this from an outsiders point of view. thank you.!

3 Months is not a long time...

Seems that he has developed feelings for you and as such is prepared to put effort in.

Not all guys will put effort from the inset, as if they have to prove they are good lovers, rather like the girl and just go with sex...

He is obviously very passionate.. Musically minded people hold alot of passion...

Don't look at it as "holding out" geez. You only "feel"

    when:-
    you:-

    Feel....

    Good luck

LOL I have feelings for him but after knowing he wanted to date other people i thought ........
      o.k ......!
we are not exclusive i heard it from the horses mouth but i do feel like his mouth says one thing and his actions say another......
Not wanting to get sucked into the pink lens effect, feel like i have to keep my distance but the further I tend to need to be, the closest he seems to get. I'm feeling that there are many wires crossing all at the same time............and im getting mixed signals...i dont wanna talk to him about it!!!!! pull away! ..............

Don't you still have a few tricks up your sleeve? I've been with my guy over a year and I'm still trying to knock his socks off by doing new things here and there.

And as for him... The longer we're together the more adventerous and bold he becomes. I love being surprised when he says or does something new.

Don't think of it as holding out think of it as him falling in love with u because that's what it sounds like to me.

i agree with hopeless dork, sex is of course better when you really feel for the person, he wants to please you, and his feelings are waking up to you, three months isnt long - it will probably just develop from here - good luck!

I have many other tricks up my sleeve. I'm just not wanting to push were there might not be a chance for tmrw.I guess I could present him wit suggestions/ or ideas and c what he does wit them.even though the sex was good I know we can do much much more. I'm just ify bout me having to do the presenting/ and I've thought bout him being into me we all know that having the talk is not a good idea! Right?

I really don't wanna over do it! What do u guys think?

3 months is a rough spot when it comes to holidays -- dating too long to do nothing at all , and not long enough to go overboard... ack I struggled with this last year when my boyfriend and I were only dating a few months before Christmas.

What are his hobbies and interests? Maybe a video game you heard him talking about if he likes those... if he plays guitar maybe a book of music sheets of one of his favorite bands... something inexpensive --- but thoughtful of what he enjoys.

well he has talked about a birthday celebration he says he has never had one and that comes into mind although I think a surprise would be too abvious cz he knows I enjoy giving my friends surprise birthday parties.........I must say I enjoy the music sheet idea alot as im sure they sell kits of some sort he has expressed the fact that he enjoys writing his own music........and for a surprise party i guess it be only the people that i know.!
