      I don't think that bringing a third party into a relationship that's stable is a bad thing. But the three of you really needed to talk about the things that can go wrong...ie. what is happening now with you and her bf chatting without her. There is no disrespect meant here, but perhaps their relationship wasn't as stable as they thought and you being the outlet for her boyfriend is going to get you both in some trouble. Tread lightly and be aware of everything going on during that situation. Otherwise, SP is correct, if it doesn't feel right and you have to ask, the answer is pretty clear.

      You'll have to decide how important your gf friendship is to you.
