(delighted smile) this has been what I feel I've fumbled toward expressing all my life. Problem seems to be in finding a like minded partner. The LOML "gets it" at some level but is still deciding if he wants to go there. We have been trained to be so goal oriented in everything and I think this is where the "hunger" comes from. People don't connect and fullfill themselves or each other so they eat, drink, numb themselves with TV/media/drugs because they can't fill the void. They can't even name the need. The need is connection, spiritual depth (not religion - different thing) and taking pleasure in the journey and exploration.Comment

I don't think sex should be like a business plan where everything is planned and executed in stages and success is viewed in terms of objectives and metrics.
Why not just spend time together touching and exploring, connecting, and enjoying the experience, regardless of how long it takes or how many orgasms anyone has?
Easier said than done, I know. We've been conditioned into thinking everything should be quick and easy and deliver immediate results.Comment

Very good WC.Found more interesting stuff, like how sex is supposed to be a journey you enjoy rather than scripted and goal oriented (in the sense that many people think an orgasm is the whole objective of sex and that sex should end with that orgasm).
Thanks Professor WildChild!
I've been chatting to a young man, well he is younger than me
And, discussions as such have taken place...
I basically said, physical attraction creates chemistry, then off they go, the woman is emotional and bonds, he doesn't care, as it was just sex and the whole, perhaps could have been a relationship goes out the door.
His scenario was in agreeance, but also a tad of excitement of having to keep it in his pants, whilst exploring a light kiss, deeper kiss, pulling someone close to you, etc....
I as you know, call the first scenario "settling", you do the deed oh no, I'm going out with him (grin) and he goes, oh no, best keep some distance but she's alright.... and the second one, mind exploding surely, if your attracted mentally and physically and hold off for a few dates and then ........dear Tex...........you got to have an ORGASM lol....PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

No idea what most men think, my b/f is straight and nothing more gross to him than accident seeing another penis aside from his own. His is just "what I have" to him, I think it's picture perfect (and I have seen some ugly or funny looking ones). When he's erect I often just like holding it and looking at it for a moment. Never thought of what I have down there as pretty or exciting though it is the excite area for men. But if I want him and that 2nd set of lips are out to play, I love seeing his expression when I spread my legs to show him I'm ready. His expression is always like a 15 year old seeing his first boob (stares and breathes funny) and his face is instantly buried between my legs every time. Predictable, but it's really great

I am with you on this 100%. I love just being intimate with the person. Exploring what feels good where, how to make it feel good, etc. Time shouldn't matter nor should how many times you get off. Sure, getting off is wonderful but for me, I don't need that.I don't think sex should be like a business plan where everything is planned and executed in stages and success is viewed in terms of objectives and metrics.

I don't think that it should be looked at as; Here's the goal, make it into the endzone, TOUCHDOWN, game over. (Sorry... I can't believe I just used football as an example) That's the easiest way to describe it for me.
Of course, there is a time and a place for everything. Sometimes it is just a quick little go at it and then it's over. People are busy. It just shouldn't be that way all of the time.Comment
