Men 50+
I have tried searching the web and found no answers, but I am wondering what men 50+ are looking for with regards to having a great sex life. What do men at this age prefer or don't like. Are men still as excitable at age 50+ as they were when they were 25? What turns them on I guess is what I am really trying to find out.

Slowed down my behind
. If my wife had the sex drive I have, we'd never get out of bed
.
Kidding aside, slowed down is probably a relative term. I'd rather have more intimate passionate love making more now than just plain sex. That may be the best description. It's more about quality than quantity for me anyway.Comment

LOL, Let's just say the 6 or 7 times a day of youth, has most probably been replaced, as you say, with a more quality experience.Slowed down my behind

Any conversation on why? If it's possible, I'm hornier now than in my youth and that's saying something!
Was she orgasmic?
Has she had a physical? Had her hormone levels checked and other blood work?
Those little hormones can wreal havoc if they get out of wack. Something to consider, if she consumes much dairy (well any really) and beef, BGH acts as an artificial hormorn receptor and can really mess things up. I assume it can for men, but it really does a number on women - it is probably the main culpret in the increasingly early onset of menstration. I've discussed this with doctors and social workers and that is their take on the situation. I think it very likely that it also affects adult women, especially as we get more mature and our hormone levels start to change. Your wife may benefit from switching to organic dairy products and beef. My theory is, if it won't hurt and might help - why not?Comment

Actually from the very beginning of my stay here, this has been a major focus for me,Any conversation on why? If it's possible, I'm hornier now than in my youth and that's saying something!

But it is a circular path. But the long and short is no, she's doing nothing about what our issues are and I'm being selfish for trying.
I still have faith in our relationship so until that day that I finally accept that it is a lost cause I'll continue to do everything I can to make our lives the best it is.Comment

Having dealt with the opposite problem of men who are unwilling to work in things or do anything, I have to commend those of you are so dedicated and willing to keep trying. You know, you can't make her change, she has to to that, but you can keep working on communicating and learning all that you can.
The Living Tantra is coming to your area and I think is on the web, that might be an interesting exploration. I lean to the Skywalking Tantra which was developed in the US and also draws on Native American and other traditions. Might open a new door?Comment
