I have also been masturbating since childhood and when in relationships, I have found that it actually enhances the sexual experience. I'm not sure how, but the stimulation, whether alone or with help from my partner, has served as another form of foreplay and increased the ability to have multiple orgasms. There is no replacement for hot, monogamous, passionate lovemaking but with the proper preparation it can be oh so good! It is during those times, one does not need to wonder if he/she is enjoying it - you just know because you both fold with exhaustion afterward.
Mutual masturbation is also a healthy practice for couples if for some reason intercourse is not possible. With an open mind, great communication, and a healthy attitude about sex in general, it can be a wonderful experience.
I personally could not imagine not touching myself and discovering what turns me on. When I learn something new, I like to explore it with my partner and incorporate it into our romantic encounters. Experimentation heightens the pleasure and makes me want more!Comment

I could live without masturbation. I could also live with only one pair of shoes. But thank goodness I don't have to! Wow, I can't imagine not masturbating fairly regularly. I love my toys, and love mutual masturbation w/ my SO's. Ever has a guy wack himself while you watch? Lots of guys can't/won't. The act leaves one so vulnerable!
Anyway, starting to ramble. Let's just say I love it both alone and with someone. BIG SMILE!!
