I tend to think that Casual sex can create problems, whereby even without emotions, one bugs the other for "sex" and then that person feels the exact conentation, which can make a person feel ucky.

I also think as we mature and "feel" what we truly want out of life, sex becomes overated In as much as you want that full, totality of it, intimacy, no inhibitions and the emotions attached as well, to truly fulfill your sexuality.

There's no better sex, than that with someone you are emotionally in-tune with, attached to, horny sex is just that, no emotions, and just a good romp...

Pends on what you are after and where you have been in your life, and where you are heading I think.

I think it depends on a number of factors. One being how it starts. It you are freinds and both know that's all you want to be and it something share with each other it's probably fine. But when you start off with a deeper relationship and then one wants to change it into just a friendship, sex won't work generally work well in that.

There's making love and there's having sex and I think there's a time and a place for both (even in a r/ship).

I totally agree that sex with friendship can work as long as both parties don't have ulterior motives (altho the best laid plans etc etc can go horribly wrong). 'Friends with benefits' can be a very fulfilling experience but you need to know the person very well and both parties need to be totally honest.

I'm not sure if you mean casual sex with others apart from friends, then I'm all for that too. If you're able to enjoy sex with any sort of other connection, then go for it and enjoy. I'm not of the school of belief that sex has to be 'special and meaningful' every time. Sex can be for fun as well as a way to show love so go have some fun.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it, if that's what you are looking for. People are fully capable of having 'no strings attached' sex. Just be safe.

That's all I had until my hubby and I started seriously dating. I had no desire to have a boyfriend, but, sex, yeah, I did want that. It worked for me. But now that I have the connection both mentally and physically with a partner that I love, I'd never be able to go back to the casual sex thing. With me, I'm far more comfortable expressing myself physically being open with him, then I'd ever be able to with a casual fling.

I agree with CW and Lana, the idea of casual sex really doesn't interest me but I know people who have no problem with it.

It's good to hear such different points of views on the matter. All of you have really different experiences and offer valid opinions and advice. I'm glad I joined wh.
I have a feeling it will continue to give me different outlooks on everything that i can consider before making any of my decisions in the future.

LilahX - the same can go with actual casual sex with a stranger or person you just met. that was included in my question as well. I've only done that once and it was alright but it wasnt completely fulfilling.
