    I couldn't care less

I'm 37 and have been married for almost 18 years. I have 2 teenage sons. And I have no desire for sex. NONE. And it's affecting my marriage big time. There are no magic pills for libido for women..............I've looked. I try to make myself want it but that ain't happenin either. It is making him mad which in turn makes me angry at him.....thus killing any further desire. And it's driving me crazy.

I thought women were supposed to be in their prime by now, but I swear mine was in my late teens.

Also, it hurts when we have sex. I'm not sure if it's from the lack of desire or what.

    Ugh.................totally frustrated here.

Go have your hormone levels tested. A dry vagina is often a sign of menopause. Yes, you're a tad young for that but stranger things hve happened. Hormone treatment may well fix both your problems.

Does he make you feel good during sex? Do you have orgasms?

If not, that could very well be the reason you don't want it.

Yes....he is wonderful in bed. No complaints there. The pain isn't from dryness it's a deeper internal pain. Can't stand the missionary position because it feels like he's hitting something.....cervix maybe? But sometimes there's no pain at all..........it's weird I know. He's a typical man and want sex all the time...........but I just don't care if I do it anymore or not. And I know that's not the way it's supposed to be.

Go to your gyna to have it checked out! I have endometriosis and that was one of my symptoms. I know another lady that had cysts that caused that. If the same position used to not hurt I bet it's not your cervix. Couldn't hurt to get it checked out!

My ex mother-in-law started menopause at 38. It could be any number of things. Could be birth control. Or other ailments as others have stated. I would make an appointment and get checked out. If your hormaones are in check and everything else, you should have somewhat of a sex drive.

My wife had a uterine fibroid (benign) tumor which pretty much produced the symptom you describe of painful sex. That put an end to the desire thing on both our parts - her, because it hurt, and I, because I didn't want to hurt her.

Get yourself checked out though; this isn't an area where you want to trust self-diagnosis.

I wish that were true... but not all men want sex all the time, you're lucky. Anyway:

It sounds like it's a medical issue that you have to check with your gynecologist. Pain is always a sign of something going wrong in your body. Don't ignore it.

Before I had my youngest child I was having pain. Went to the gyno and he did an exam and found absolutely nothing. That was 13-14 years ago. Said it might be psychological.
