a couple points...
I just happened upon this forum and thought I might give you some info. I also masturbate with condoms sometimes. By making it slightly less sensitive, I not only prolong the act, but also help with future problems. You see, if guys masturbate a lot it can decrease sensitivity in the penis--sometimes even leading to minor ED. By masturbating with a condom, it limits this. If he then has sex without a condom, it is more sensitive than masturbating (which is almost impossible if he's masturbating wo a condom). A hand can always conform better than a vagina or anus, so this way he can masturbate but still keep the real sex sensation as the highest point, perhaps sustaining his erections.
Clean-up has been mentioned several times, and it is definitely a plus.
Finally, who cares if he's using expired condoms for this? An expiration date is important so it doesn't lead to breakage during intercourse, but for masturbation, it doesn't really matter. Use up the expired ones that way, and save the others for real intercourse (even though you're on birth control--you may find he lasts longer).Comment

I occasionally use a condom for masturbation. Once it's been on a little while, you forget it's there. It gets slippery inside and becomes very sensual. It's also nice to use one if you don't want such a big clean-up operation!Wow, I have no clue why a guy would use a condom during masturbation. It decreases the sensation. I guess if he wants an easy cleanup or something. I've heard of stranger masturbation practices though. I've never tried it and don't see the benefit. The idea of practicing for better sex wouldn't be using a condom. It would be practicing without a condom with full sensation to practice control. At least I would think.
Is he using Magnum condoms? Or just regular size? Regular size is made for average sized guys. Maybe he should switch to a different brand. I don't know how you can reassure him his size is fine. Our egos are pretty fragile when it comes to penis size. Of course don't say or compare his size to anything small or say "it's cute". Don't go the complete opposite and say he's huge or something like that either. He'll see right through that. Saying "You're the perfect size for me" is like saying he's average or small. Probably the best way is not telling him, but making him know in bed what he's doing is doing it for you. That is, if it really is.Comment

YES! Easy clean up. I have read some things on the internet. I am a guy. I have used a condom. I did a few nights ago and my GF found it in the trash and she questioned the masturbation story. I have googled "masturbate with a condom" and have not found one single man say he has not done it. Men masturbate much more than women. Easy clean up is a popular reason. I love my GF to death. I am 41. I have NEVER cheated on a woman and my ex wife gave me permission to sleep with other people for 10 years. She ENCOURAGED IT. I still did not do it. I feel bad that I introduced the thought in her head because she is on the pill and found a used condom in my bathroom trash. If a man tells you that the condom was from masturbating, it's probably MORE likely than he used it on someone else. It's not uncommon! We do it everywhere! into a towel, into a sock, into rubber gloves, condoms, into the toilet, in the shower, in the car(condom especially) EVERYWHERE. Don't be alarmed! lolLast edited by vikesboy00; 08-17-2012, 04:39 AM.Comment
