I just recently (within the past few months) started having a sexual relationship. Its been a great experience until recently, realizing I don't get very aroused from receiving oral sex. In fantasy it turns me on and I have no problem with concerns of cleanliness or the like. I just can't seem to get into it even though he has tried multiple different approaches and styles to find what I might like.

I think part of the problem may be the wet factor. Until recently I have only enjoyed my own manual stimulation with relatively low moisture arousal and the focus on stimulating the area around my clit, not the organ directly. Could the extra moisture be desensitizing me, i.e. less friction? It feels okay down there, but there arn't any fireworks or anything remotely close to orgasm potential.

There's always a lot of foreplay involved and no problems during any other activities. I just can't understand why something craved by many women (and something I really thought I would enjoy) hasn't really been a highlight for me. Has anyone else felt this way?

Sexual acts vary between everyone, just because you see other women enjoying it does not mean you must. I know I don't get much out of it, I mean sure it feels good but like you said "no orgasm potential". There is no set way to experience pleasure in the bedroom and there is no exacting fail proof method for anything so as long as you do not get worried you should focus on the other things that give you pleasure.

Why doesn't he try to give you oral without making things wet by using dry lips to squeeze the area near the clitoris. Also, he can use one lip to move the clitoral hood up, down and sideways. As long as there is no sliding or rubbing, rather just pushing, pulling or squeezing, the lack of lubrication is not a big problem.
