It doesn't bother me but my boyfriend won't do it.
He said it doesn't gross him out but that he feels bad if there's a big mess I have to clean up or if the sheets get ruined. But to me, that's not a big deal.
I already feel gross when I'm having my period, so it would be nice to feel like you're still a little bit attractive during that time. boooo -
Done it. Messy and juicy. Less friction. Odor of blood. Have to get your mind around it to give her oral sex. Can be enjoyable. Can be a stress reliever for the woman. Don't forget hugging, kissing and manual stimulation.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, VirginiaComment

I am extremely turned on during that time of the month but have no desire to actually go through with having sex at that time. My boyfriend has never attempted it and if he did I would push for the alternative outside of the clothing pleasures for myself (which we sometimes do at that time for me.
I'm just way too self-concious about my hygiene in general and though I am sure it would be immmensly pleasurable due to how sensitive I am... I would be too nervous at grossing him out to fully enjoy myself... and even if I managed to get past it to do it, I know afterwards it would make me uncomfortable that he didn't like it, no matter what he'd say.
He is also very hygeinic and I don't think he would be too keen on the idea of sex at that time of the month.
But I know many women that do... and it doesn't have to be a mess, a good hot shower before, a red towel (as to not have a massacre look afterwards) and a nice shower after for both and it could be way doable.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment

I'm the same HD. My drive is much higher the week before and during, but during I just feel so gross and I'm so tired. I don't mind the mess, that I can live with. So if he wanted to and I was in the mood, ok. But I agree on the self conscious part. Now that you mention it, I don't think I'm as comfortable with it as I thought I was. Given the issues we already have in our sex life, I think doing it when I'm already all insecure and feeling yucky would be opening a can of worms.Comment

Like HD and sp, I get EXTREMELY horny during my period, but never actually want to go through with it. My hubby doesn't care about the mess, but I'd just not rather deal. So, I concentrate on him, which in turn pleases me. So it all works out in the end.
Every once in a blue moon, we'll go ahead and do it, usually in the shower. So clean up is a piece of cake.Comment

I too have quite the sexual appetite usually the week before and especially the day I'm going to start. Usually I'll be sitting at work incredibly turned on by absolutely nothing, and then an hour or two later I start. :\
I'm not a big fan of sex during. I've done it, and truthfully it didn't feel great. I guess my ovaries are sensitive during that time.
When I was on the pill, there was no bad odor during my period. Off the pill there is and of course it's a bit heavier. So no.....that won't be happening.
