No! Don't use an anaesthetic to get past the pain if anal sex is painful!
Pain is there for a reason - it is the body's way of telling you that damage is being caused.
If anal sex is painful then the person receiving the anal, if willing, needs to learn to relax and you probably need more lube too.
Pain is caused by the anus and muscles not being relaxed and ready. The receiver needs to push out (same as when letting something out, if you know what I mean) - that will relax the sphincter muscle and probably allow the receiver to feel more pleasure than pain.
The other pain factor is friction. Unlike the vagina the anus does not naturally lubricate so you need to something to ease the friction.
Of course some people just don't like anal. Some don't like the idea and don't find it sexy, so can't relax, so it hurts. And others, even though they relax and do everything they can to make it good, just do not enjoy the sensation.
What I have found in the past is that if I start anal before I am ready there is a sharp, stabbing pain and it becomes a lot harder to relax. If you want to practise you have to go really slow. Get used to putting a finger there, well lubricated and not too deep - just to help her get used to the sensation. Do it while you are having vaginal sex or while you are giving her oral. Once she is happy with that you can try two fingers and a bit deeper - and so on. I'd recommend doing that over several love-making sessions. Not all at once.
But if your girlfriend just does not like it then you have to respect that.Comment
