OK here's the thing I have been semi-happliy single for a while now.
It seems I actually miss having sex though.
It seems like for a few days every month I get these intense urges, thank goodness for B.O.B it gets part of the job done.
the worse part is that I do believe I miss actual sex, but jus not ready to date.
and the idea of casual sex, doesn't exactly have the ring of safety to it.
But is this normal?
Does this happen to anyone else?

I felt the same as single, so I do think it's normal. The best you can do is to wait until you are ready to date, rather than go for casual sex. It will happen.

It's very normal, sex is about more than just having an orgasm, it's also about connection, touch, feelings, desire, joining with another.

Very normal. It's the longing for the physical closeness, the sexual intimacy, etc. I totally get what you're saying. All I can say is be patient.

I'm a happily married guy. The few days a month you're getting those intense urges is because your ovulating. My wife and i actually use that timing to have some of the best sex. It makes sense when you think about it. You're horny when you're the most fertile and willing/wanting sex. We have three lil ones under the age of 5 so time for us to play is hard to come by. We specifically use that timing to make our time together super enjoyable. It's super handy to be able to tell when she's ovulating. I've known her long enough that i can tell when she is. Knowing when is handy b/c i don't have to pester her for sex when i know she's not in the mood. It removes the guilt or stress on her part for feeling like she always has to let me down etc. Remvoing the stress has made such a difference.

Going to agree with everyone else. You're just going to have to be patient. Maybe you can spend more time with your girlfriends to try to have some sort of intimacy in your life and then just rely on B.O.B. for now until you're ready? If you're having just casual sex anyway, it's probably not going to really curb what you're missing and can be dangerous with all the diseases floating around.
