The OP seems to have faded away but I suspect this is a common problem. One thing you can do to over come this to immerse yourself in educational material. Hit the bookstore or Amazon and pick up some books on sex (see the books on sex thread for a few suggestions) and start reading. As you get an idea of the range of possiblities and how normal sex and bodies are, I think you will start to lose some of that resistance.

Other posters are right that finding that special someone to unlock your desire can help. I've a pretty high sex interest but the level and intensity varies with different partners. There are some men that leave me completely flat line - no interest, others are moderate interest - with a little effort or stimulation I'm into it, and some who have me on simmer - ready all the time and then there was a special one who had me just over the top all the time. Even with a high response level, how open he is to trying things will affect your responses.

A man who turns you on, who is really comfortable with his sexuality and yours, is a whole different level of experience from a man who is narrowly defined in what he will and will not do or is comfortable with. My current lover has an 'ick' factor associated with his own ejaculate and a few other things, that limits my experience.

You have to open up, safely, and explore what is out there. Find a man you really connect with (that doesn't have to mean you are 'in love') and you should find it loses all 'grossness'. You can't make an omlet without dealing with opening the eggs, you can't have good sex without touching, tasting, feeling, reveling in it. Learn to love it and you will be rewarded with a much richer life.

I'd say it not that unusual to feel that way. Perfectly innocent reaction to sex. If you're happy go with it, if not try things out on your own.

When you have a SO that you are fully in love with, things that seem gross now are not something that you will wish to have disagreements over. In fact, some of them you will get to like.

          Same issue

I have the same issue. I have always wondered why people kiss - I did feel somewhat sexual and wanted to be kissed. Why kissing is only for adults, and why couples go to bed naked in films. I also was highly curious how babies were made and my parents yelled at me when I asked very specific details. I was first introduced to porn website accidentally by a virus when I was in 3rd grade or so. I thought it was some weird psycho website when I thought "is this the secret to how babies are made?" I was disgusted by the fact that "sex" is an act where the behinds of the bodies meet to make babies. To a child, penis= male's urinating organ and there is no concept of vagina except that women have two holes in their rear, one for urinating, and one for bowel movement. So I wasn't sure why a man's penis would go into one of female's two holes to excrete urine or stool.

Mom told me that there is something called a vagina between the "two holes" . I was still disgusted because why the **** is a vagina between the "two holes"? It just looked so inappropriate to see the "sex" in whatever position because I kept thinking it was the act of rubbing organs used to urinate or have bowel movement . I realized men and women went crazy about sex and they actually do it for FUN with MANY people as I grew older. And that many great kings and queens used to have multiple partners. GROSS!!

As I grew older, I almost hypnotized myself that sex is not disgusting and that everyone is the product of sex. I felt sexual towards both men and women. I didn't know what sex feels like since I never had it, but I kept fantasizing about it. I also realized masturbation is very difficult for women and gave up several times. I turned 14: the most beautiful and sexual of my entire life. My parents were very strict about not having boyfriends while my elder brother was able to have girlfriends. Yea they pretty suck since they feel it's okay for my elder brother to mess around with other girls while I have to keep my virginity? Any ways I feared getting pregnant(the shame of getting pregnant as a teen and abortion was illegal where I lived) so I stayed away from sex anyways.

I was never good with guys and never made friends with guys. They just seemed to have different interest and I never found interesting to talk to them even if I had a crush for someone. I never knew what to say when I went out on a date. I got sexually frustrated when I was 16 and 17. I masturbated a lot but my mom would think I was being inappropriate while, again, my brother watched porn in the house. She even told me that I shouldn't embarrass her by having sex and getting pregnant!!!!

This fueled me into having sex and I actually asked a guy out at a party to have sex with him. I almost "used" him to get rid of my virginity. I hated the idea that virgin women often became "preys" or get "used" by men who just want to "pop the cherry". I actually ended up going out with the guy I had my first sex with. At first, everything was SOOOOOO freaking disgusting and awkward and no where near "fun". I felt like an animal. After a few months, yes, I finally found out how fun sex is.

BUUUUT a few months after our relationship, I realized that bodily fluid is still disgusting and the sex smell is also disgusting. I also felt like an animal immediately after the wild fun was over. Some people say sex smell is pheromone, which is also the smell that stays in your pubic hair(which is why I always shaved!). I know that bodily fluid acts as a lubricant but it was still disgusting and that's how people get disease. I also read that having sex with one person is like having non-direct sex with all the people he had sex with in the past and his sex partners' partners. It was wayyyy too disgusting. Beyond that, I realized that the better a guy(or girl) is in sex, the more experience he had, which was repulsive. And most guys who are successful in life, aka. great bachelors(or bacheloretts) tend to have high sexual drive. One source said that's why we find many politicians and CEOS (including kings and queens) having multiple sexual partners.

Really smart, high class people hiring escorts and spending millions of dollars for sex, the girls next door type of thing made me feel even more disgusted towards sex and so far it still remains that way.

I sometimes find a guy or a girl attractive, but don't necessarily hit on him or her or go out on a date because I assume that most people will expect sex in a relationship. So I decided to be single for a while until I figure out what to do with my asexuality.

I wrote a bunch of stuff about myself, but I hope that after you read this you are not abnormal. And that people can still feel disgusted toward sex even if they had a very passionate sexual experience in the past.

I find the thought of sex with anyone other than my wife to be nasty, even though I find other women attractive. So, I don't think you're abnormal. Casual sex is nasty stuff. A lot of people have a lot of problems because of it. I think abstinence is cool, but I suspect that if you got married you'd enjoy sex. It very different than casual sex or sex with a girlfriend for me. It's meaningful.

When I have sex while I'm aroused and enjoy it, the bodily fluids do not bother me. I have even slept in "the wet spot".

When I have sex just to please my husband and do not enjoy it, the fluids disgust me to the point that I must take a shower to wash all of it off. If there is a wet spot I change the sheets or sleep in the guest room.

It can be a little grose, don't watch porn, it won't help, what do you see in your fantasies? And yeah do you masturbate?
Sex is or should be very sensual, secure, and well I had an aversion to it, underlying cause is a medical condition, I have ME, so tired ness fear of failure etc, and I couldn't bear anyone touching me at all. All of this lead to an ewww grose thing in my head. What changed was a guy showing interest in me, telling me he wanted me, and I had feelings down there, I have a dildo, but all I can can think of is a guy penetrating me. My toys do for now, and you can buy real feel items, mr Tom from Ann summers is good, you could try it. Men's things used to make me think ewww, but you can get some gorgeous looking ones, I have seen on showyourdick, if you search it, but beware there are some ickies too, just look at the nice ones.
Never judge on face value, never assume someone is ok, because to you they look it. Enjoy life and what you have, don't take it for granted, not everyone is as lucky as you.
