General consensus seems to be that circumcision is the "cleaner/healthier" way to go, which I think is a bit of rubbish.

If technicalities come into play then everything can fall back on the science of bacteriology 101. Make an environment warm, damp and dark...like inside of the skin of an uncircumcised penis, and you got yourself a growth of viable bacteria of many morphologies.

Yup that's always the case, when a man can make a choice while we can't. Man think they dictate everything even during sex. Can't they listen?

So you've talked to men that have gone through circumcision and they can recall the pain, is that what you're saying ??? These were babies at a few days/weeks old and they can recall the pain...

About the last comment, there is no recollection yes but to say it is painless is false, although I won't go so far as to call it mutilation. Not having been circumcized myself I have never had a problem with keeping clean. Does anyone know the stats on whether more men are or aren't? I tend to believe peoples views on what looks better is somewhat societal.

Whats going on here is men are trying to equate torcher and being mutilated with circumcision, they aren't even in the same ball park, a guy has no recollection of Circumcision, there was no pain or mutilation, and I defy any sane man to tell me otherwise, where a girl/woman will carry the pain and scars with her for the of her life, if she lives through it that is..

Being dirty is one thing we agree is bad, but you said you would prefer he was genitally mutilated ("looks better" !!!!!) didn't you?

Spot on CharlesV (by the way, are you our lost King?) Women can have their preferences of course. But please ladies realise that this is mutilation of the male genitals and don't look at it as though it is insignificant. It is a form of emasculation. As I said before, there are millions of men and boys in the world who have been circumcised and have had no say in the matter. Yes, guys should keep clean and wash regularly but so should women of course!

But why force this on young boys who have not chosen that faith? Let the man grow up. Then if he feels he wants this to conform to that religion then he can chose to have it done. I just find it staggering that in this modern world people do this and it is acceptable. Yet we lock up people who download pictures of naked children. Yes, this is sick, but is it really any worse than cutting off parts of their genitals????
