Agree and understand everything everyone has said. recoreyus is smack on with this as well. My g/f uses it as a weapon some days later sometimes. I do understand that women need to feel in the mood, but several days later?? I know where JRod is coming from here. Anyway, what's wrong with sex to patch up things between man and woman?
sungoddesschelsy is right as well though. You do have to sort out some problems before you go any further.

Sex is used as a weapon by both sexes, by society, by religion, by political parties, you name it. It's all about who and when chooses to use it and why.

Man, I love it when people ask stereotypical questions!

Yes, JRod, ALL women use sex as a "weapon." We are all evil and manipulative and should be destroyed. Honestly...

I have a better question - why do men think all is well as long as they get sex? Why do they think that that if the their partner if their partner has sex that she does not mind or approves of his ignoring her request and needs. criticizing, being unappreciative, being selfish lover, not listening.

I don't think the men who feel their partners use sex as a weapon are as innocent as they make themselves out to be. there are two sides to this story so start by admitting your role and stop playing the victim.
Some men make sex a weapon - when they are the ones who when they get all the sex they want they may get neglectful, lazy, ignore their partner except when they want sex. When it stops they are motivated to solve problems and to listen. If they were motivated without the withdrawal of sex there would be no problem. Make it the other way around.

Now, do you still think it's a weapon or is an act that is misinterpreted by men to mean that no matter what the quality of the relationship is from a woman's point of view, it does not matter. She is as happy as he is because she having sex with him. Sex means approval for men and if you can't get their attention any other way you that would be fine but many times you can't. It is the ultimate communication device for men not women.

I absolutely agree with you rcoreyus, the one who wants sex less is in control of the sex. Full stop. And I think they may not even realise they are using sex as a weapon sometimes, although they may do it on purpose at other times too. I think using sex as a weapon happens to and is used by both males and females.

I love what you wrote, but I have to look at this

Isn't it the ultimate communication device for both? We can't have sex unless they want to do it... So if they are tired, not interested, masterbated earlier, what ever, it's not going to happen and we lay there frustrated because we wanted to "bond" and off course, "sex"... It is always up to them...

But, if we are wild women, sexy, make some moves, sometimes that works, sometimes it doesnt.

Then off course there are men, whom can't get anything from their wives, they switch off don't want to, see it as yuck, or the lust has gone totally, only love remains but in a different way.

Women use sex to get what they want, it's not too hard to get a man erect.... and then he wants to...

Men want sex, when single, courting, mainly and all the time...

And, women see sex as intimacy, he finds me sexy, he loves me, men see sex as I'm horny, animal instinct..

If only we weren't so emotional we'd be okay with na, tired, and okay with being forward and attracting it...

This depends on the man. I've dealt with several man who have used witholding sex, or witholding intimacy as part of sex as a weapon. We have women here all the time who are getting no loving because the man in their lives is; uninterested, masterbating to porn frequently, a workaholic, having an affair and who knows what else. As Rcoreyus pointed out and we have discussed many times here, the one who wants it the least is in control. It sucks but those of us who have a high sex drive end up unappreciated and often mistreated by a partner who has a lower interest or who simply likes to be in control.
