I think for most people its just not that hard to know when to be appropriate. If his granny was sitting next to you on the sofa would he grope you in front of her? Probably not cause he respects his granny, he needs to show your daughter the same respect, simple as that. To resolve it I'd suggest taking it very serious, no giggling or reciprocation or any nod of approval to his gropes in front of her... simply react with the disdain you feel in your gut for his actions. Being affectionate to you, holding your hand or petting your hair, snuggling, a loving peck of a kiss and even occasionally a romantic kiss are all healthy for her to witness, as she would be witness love, given respectuflly.

Him say grabbing your butt or boobs in front of her is sending all the wrong messages about affection for her age bracket... and even if she were grown up.. who wants to see their mom getting their boobs fondled or groped? Can you say akward? I'm sure everyone would have their heart warmed watching mom and dad snuggle... NOBODY wants to see the business though... lol... we all like to pretend that we were miraculously conceived because imagining them doing that is... disturbing!!! haha jk but you know what i mean.

If he has no mental problems or learning disorders, no social disorders etc... he should be able to understand the bounderies you set and be able to keep them. And he gets you to himself 2 weeks a month, he can be a grown up, a respectful one, the other 2 weeks a month.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
