Just to let you know. The wife and I have pain free sex last night for the first time in 3 years. We are still in shock over the whole thing really. Turns out my wife is crazy allergic to parabens and that was what the problem was. We are still not 100 percent convinced it was this easy to fix after all the heartache and trouble with the other stuff but we are gonna put in the time to find out. Only time will tell as they say. We went and got a lube that was glycerine and paraben free and it worked awesome, no pain whatsoever. Now my wife has alot of relearning to do, so she can associate sex with intimacy and pleasure and not pain. THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL !! -
Wow. This is absolutely amazing to read. I had to reply so I signed up real quick and made a similar login name to the original poster (sorry no creativity there).
When I read the first entry on this thread, I had to go back and read again to check that it wasn't me who posted this!! I have been on this exact same journey with my wife, even down to the doctor's saying there's nothing wrong, all in her head, etc etc (we also did not have sex before marriage). I have never heard of parabens before but I read another site before this one where a woman mentioned that eliminating parabens helped her problem. After googling parabens and pain during intercourse here I am!
I am absolutely amazed and astounded (and pleased) to read that the problem was all but solved by eliminating that chemical. I am going to tell my wife about this!!!
