    Is something wrong with me?

Alright. My boyfriend and I have been having sex since November. I was not a virgin when we got together. And we have sex on a decent basis. Well, last night, as part of our Valentines thing, when he went to put his penis in me, it hurt for some reason. It was excruciating pain and I couldn't figure out why. We tried another position and it still hurt. Then he pulled out, and noticed I was bleeding. Naturally, we thought, oh, she just started her period okay. So we find a tampon and clean up the mess.

Well, this is where it gets weird. The next day, when I go to change my tampon, there was no blood. None. Even as I'm typing, I'm not bleeding at all. And, it's freaking me out just a tad. My period is irregular and always changes the days it decides to show up. And I always get violently ill right before it. So what is wrong?

If someone can help me, I'll be utterly grateful seeing as I am quite honestly scared and shaken up.

    Thank you

Was he manually playing with you? Could you have gotten a scrape or cut by his fingernails?

We did some foreplay in the bath tubs hours before, and then when we got to bed he went down on me, but that's about it. There was WAY too much blood for it to have been a scrape.

Are you in pain at all?

It may be wise to get in for an exam with your gyno to be on the safe side, if the bleeding was that much to concern the two of you.

Currently, there is no pain. And still no blood. I figured scheduling an appointment would be best but, it scared me pretty bad. It's not that bleeding that was the scary part. It's the fact that I'm not bleeding anymore.

Were you lubricated enough? Even the smallest amount of initial friction can cause small cuts which do not hurt much but with enough further pushing and lack of lubrication they can get bigger and hurt far more.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

I was rather wet. Both natural and lube. I'm wondering if maybe something tore or so.

I'm still kind of leaning towards some irritation of some kind. Like IAS said above, sometimes just the friction can be enough to do it. I wouldn't overly stress about it.

Get into the Dr like you'd planned and take it easy down there for a few days.
