how would you react if you caught your partner masturbating?

womens views on masturbating.
Hi, Just wondering what your views are on men masturbating. I don't get as much sex as Id like from my partner so I end up masturbating almost everyday. Whilst masturbating I am pretty cautious because I'm not sure how my partner would react, whether she gets annoyed, angry, disgusted, or maybe turned on. I know if I walked in on her masturbating, Id join her and give her a helping hand. But that may just be a male thing?

If I hadn't gotten enough sex recently and I found him masturbating once or twice I'd probably make a one sentence complaint to point it out to him and leave it at that. If I hadn't gotten enough sex for awhile and knew he'd masturbated a lot we'd sit down to have a serious discussion on what's wrong. If I'd gotten plenty of sex recently and he still wanted to masturbate then I'd just continue whatever I was doing. Every now and then our sex drives don't line up (stressful work week, illness, change in medication, etc...) and one of us ends up masturbating a few times to satisfy ourselves. We both are generally aware when each other resorts to these things.Comment

Masturbation is a nearly universal human practice, almost 100% among men, and practiced by the majority of women. I'd say half of all my orgasms come from masturbation. Sometimes my husband and I masturbate together for something "different" and I'm sure he masturbates sometimes alone. I can't imagine taking offense at that.Comment

If there is a healthy sex life within the couple and both partners are satisfied then I don't find it offensive for either to masturbate at times. Yet, if one wants more sex than the other and the other masturbates often then there's an issue here which needs to be discussed.
If I'd catch my partner masturbating while being sexually happy with him I'd join him, but if he'd be someone who claims to always be 'too tired for sex' and want sex once a week 'just to get it out of the way' I'd be very annoyed with him and sit him down for a talk after he's 'done'.Comment

My girlfriend knows that i masturbate; but I chose to only masturbate over her, memories of her and future moments with her.
I feel uneasy masturbating to porn, almost feels like I'm cheating in a way, and I don't really have the same attractions to porn that I used to.
I don't know how she would feel if I did use porn for masturbation. I know that my mum got very upset when she found that my dad watched/watches porn.
I think it depends on the individual really, but honestly is always the best policy in relationships imho.Comment

Like everything in life, secrets always end up coming out.
Often we white lie or choose not to speak, through fear of the un-known.
A healthy relationship includes honesty, talk, discussions, openness.
I think that any person caught masterbating, implies to the other person that they weren't going to be a part of that, and makes them question themselves...
Yet, posing a question about a topic, that is not implying yourself, rather a topic, can open the door to your answer.
And, sex for the sake of having it is only good if your horny...
Sensual
Sexual
Horny
If your sex life revolves around Horny, then there is no sexual, sensual experiences so you are necessarily going to want sex as often...
Look at how you have sex.
And, look at how you communicate as well... in discussions and make changes if need be.
