I am not so sure about religion, and there is slight prof of evolution and evidence of dinosours etc which contradicts religion, but I'm no scientist. But please consider the fact that God was supposed to have given us free will. Doesn't that mean we can do what we wish with our lives?

All I know is the idea of religion is totally confusing to me. And I think a phd in biology would be more appropriate in this topic than engeneering. If you dissagree with someone, leave the topic alone if you're not going to help them. You will not achieve anything if you flame or insult people because they don't agree with your religion. Don't get angry or upset because you think they insult God. God's word isn't fact, it is opinion. As far as I know, there isn't any evidence that he exists, and I've heard terrible rumours about his 'word' or rules.

In future, try and ignore posts that offend you, and only post if they are helpful to the sender. I've seen people posting who seem really hurt, and comments about religion are most likely not what they want to hear. Respect others, and others will respect you

And Isult, your post was great dissapointing that it wasn't understood the way it should've been.

"And because gay men have anal sex, if a husband and a wife do that they are copying homosexual people.
so gay people copy normal people not the other way around, except for that anal sex, normal people copy an abnormal act of gay men"

I apologise, but that is highly offensive. You can't call straight people normal, that implies there is something wrong with homosexuals. There is no such thing as 'normal'.

Calling a straight person normal is homophobic remark. I am straight myself, but I don't see gay people of any lower status as I. I am disgusted that you could call anal sex abnormal, I am not interested in this act, but how can it be abnormal if so many people do it? Is it wrong for a man to enjoy this 'act'?
We have one life, we shoulf enjoy it, as life is a remarkable thing. Are you enjoying having started this 'debate'? What was the reason for creating this topic?
This forum is not about the relevance between religion and sex, it is about sharing what we know or have learnt ABOUT SEX and helping each other with this and their problems. Understand that alot of places in the world are becoming less religious, so there aren't going to be as many people who'd agree with 'God's Rules' as there used to.

Don't use childish remarks like that priest thing, that is a very nasty thing to say, especially to those who are religious. This makes you a hypocrit, and I thought you were supposed to treat others as you'd wish to be treated? Are you not angering God by getting angry with what he's created? I thought he was supposed to have created us with his love, and loved us all for who we were.

Please ignore the fact that others do things you think God may not like, I thought free will was given to us because God allowed us the freedom to do whatever we want, mainly because Adam & Eve wanted to be intelligent like God (I don't remember that story well).

There is nothing wrong with gay people. There is nothing wrong with anal sex. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with a religious view, it is an opinion, and we all have that right.

You have the right to believe whatever you want, but respect the fact that not everyone will think you're right. I accept your belief, and I wont start saying you're wrong, but I'm not going to call you right.

Sex is not about what's right and wrong. It's the bond between two people, usually emotional if the two really love each other. Isn't that what sex is supposed to be about? Trusting the person you love? Sharing your body? Why should God interfeer with your feelings or what you want?

(I know people are different and this isn't the same with everyone, it's more of an example)

I'm sorry, I started rambling... happens alot when I'm tired

            Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually I have nothing to tell you
            I am speechless

Why? because it is true? I have never found any solid proof myself. I personally believe that religion was created because people were too afraid to believe that life was a complete coincidence - it is a miracle. As well as death, I think people were afraid that when you die, that's it.

Just becasue it is what YOU believe, doesn't make it true, whether or not it may be, like I said, I'm not saying you're right or wrong, nor am I saying I'm right or wrong. We have different opinions.

I have had lots of friends who gave up a religion because of the evidence against it. I don't think you understood my post, either. One thing misunderstood, was that I meant the LOVE between two people, does it matter the gender? People don't usually choose to be gay (although bisexuality seems to be fashionable at my old school now... according to my sister) And STD's were not formed BECAUSE of anal sex, I think it was gay people that found out about it... I can't remember but I remember some women in sex ed that told us about it, along with a video. I know, however, that it's not because of anal sex. I think there was research on this.

Please don't be shocked at people who are believing in more modern or scientific beliefs, I may not be right, you may think I'm an ignorant child, but I know one thing. Don't believe your religion is perfectly true for EVERYONG. It is your OWN opinion, and the religious view you have on this site will not matter unless people are religious and/or ask about it. I am not asking you to give it up, more understand and try to respect others beliefs. I appreciate and admire the fact you feel so strongly about it, and that's good, just don't assume it's the same for everyone.

They will most likely just flame you. I know, this is an inapropriate thing for them to do, but some people are like that. I think the best thing you can do is avoid preaching and think about what can actually be done, rather than if God is angered. To me, God and his rules don't make sense... but you did say he wasn't perfect I think... can't remember

I know you will probably either ignore this, not understand it, or not read all of it (I do tend to waffle a bit) But... at least I tried to explain my point. You did not seem to interpret it the right way before, and I think you should try and see the whole argument from the opposing side. There is no point in an argument if you don't understand both sides. I think you are trying to give advice using religion and God's laws/rules. I know you may be doing a good thing that may please your God... but opinions are ours to decide upon. And this site is not about religion, it's purely about facts to do with the persons question. If they ask for a religious opinion, then it would be appropriate to do so... maybe you could start a thread purely for the purpose of letting people know? Like maybe what God allows and disallows? Then you could say in your post 'Well, here's my opinion but what you should do is...' see what I mean? then maybe you wont be attacked as much? I think you should conisder this.
And I apologise for the long post...

I explained why is it is an abnormal act
homosexuality is not accepted by any holly law.
I doubt you know everything about EVERY religion... there's apparently a religion that believes in a beast made of pasta or something... but heh... I'm not so sure...
The Holy law isn't the same for every religion. Your religion is not the only one, so respect and understand the fact that everyone is different, and has different views. You posts regarding religion to those asking for real advice want real answers, not 'You will burn in hell-fire if you do that', it is you opinion, your belief. And like somebody else has said, some religions AS WELL as societies, I'm pretty sure America doesn't accept it, but others do accept homosexuality.
I don't know for sure, but you seem to degrade men & women because of God. Somewhere you wrote about how the 'woman's body is a tilth for men to use'? I assume this means if you're married, have sex with your wife. What about her decision? And why do you make it seem that men are thick? If they are straight but enjoy anal sex with their wife, they are not gay. It would be gay or bi if they had anal sex with another man. Having anal sex will deffinatly not push men away from being straight. This makes them sound thick, and unable to stay the way the would normally be. I don't like people who are sexist, homophobic or anything else. It is odd, especially when you are supposed to love all Gods creatures and NOT JUDGE THEM. I thought GOD was the judge. HE will decide whether you go to hell or not. HE will decide if what you did was wrong. HE will decide if you are good enough to go to heaven.

You don't seem to even understand some of them (The only ones I know of anyway) which is to love your neighbour (as much as you love yourself) you're not supposed to judge people (so things like 'I don't know what to say to you!' or whatever is kinda judging me - you seem to think I'm a bad person for not believing in a God) and to treat others as you wish to be treated (You ask not to be attacked, but you attack others becuase they disagree with you)

If God hates to see us having sex, why did he create us in into genders? And gave us the need for sex, we are to enjoy sex lawfully by marriage.
Firstly, we have different genders so we can reproduce. This has nothing to do with God wanting us to have straight sex. This is just the way (almost(... I think snails are genderless?)) every living thing works
And don't say you have a phd so you know about things like this. This is biology, not engeneering. Unless we were cars or something, I don't think we need that information.
We enjoy and have a desire for sex so we reproduce. Sexual reproduction has that name for a reason - reproducing using sex.

there could be really some religious priests but child molesters are not

THERE COULD. That doesn't mean THERE ARE, there is just a possibility. You should not have passed it on as solid fact. It is an offensive opinion, unless backed up with evidence. Besides, I heard somewhere that American TV can be very frightening for people. Maybe this is one of those TV shows? And remember the fact that you can't believe everything you see on TV, or read unless it is medically correct (ie the butt-hole thing. I would've only answered if
                a. I had the same experience or
                b. Had done some research before.)

no, if I do something wrong and disgusting, open your fire on me. I am not hypocrite, I am so honest, and the truth hurts sometimes.
I did no mean that, I meant your abuse towards the beliefs of other people. You expect us to respect you, and not attack you, but you seem to be doing that to everyone else, who doesn't believe you, like for instance I thought I read somewhere that you apologised to everyone who were offended but not those who angered you. This isn't what God would want is it? I thought you 'must love your neighbour, as much as you love yourself'... I personally don't understand religion myself... And I did not mean to attack you, more inform you. Please remember what the Golden Rule was supposed to be (I think it was that... haven't studied God in over 2 years) Treat others as you wish to be treated. This means treat them as though they were a precious treasure.

we are free to do whatever we want as long as we are not angering God by committing sins,
I could say I have free will , so I want to rob a bank??
Ah, but there are laws against that, you would be punished by going to jail/prision. And think about it morally, could you really live with the guilt? And there are laws against it. This is not God's laws. These are laws for the economy, and the government or whoever... These are laws for the whole country This comment was a bit wierd anyway... it didn't give a proper arugment nor made sense. Besides, that statement being true, people do rob banks, this must be because they do have free will, which would've proved you silly 'rob a bank' thing right. We do have this free-will you accuse us of not having

I personally see the world as a mess as it is - look what we've done to it, air pollution in London, England is very high, the ozone layer has been completly damaged, and we are ruining the Earths atmosphere. If I knew I had to live to stupid rules, what would be the point in living? That would make me feel trapped and not bother with life.

because he created us and he is the one who set the rules God doesn't interfere with your feelings if you are doing the right things
I heard somewhere that being sexually different is something to do with the brain. Which would mean that it is not their fault. I'm unsure whether this is true or not, but I don't study the brain. It is just something my mum saw on TV and told me about. As far as I know, people who are not straight have not been interfeered with because they were 'not doing the right things'.

Again, I apologise for the many posts. I had alot to answer and reply to, and could not post it as one. I am new to this site so don't flame me!
