Funny that nobody asked that on the recent threads asking men (and women) what shape woman they like. Is the subject of what women find physically attractive in men less relevant? I hear a lot of women say, "looks aren't that important. I just like a guy with a good personality or one who makes me laugh", but is that really true of most? I just kind of thought it would be fun to turn the tables and ask what male physical attributes turn women on and off.Comment

This is rather like asking what hair color or eye color you prefer, then you meet someone with the exact opposite and are attracted to them.
I've been with men who were my height (perhaps slightly shorter) to a foot taller than me. Thin, obese, beer belly...
Without meeting a man, I'm most attracted to about 6" taller than me, in good shape but not muscle bound, on the thinner side, well groomed but not looks obsessed, dark hair, dark eyes. What I fell for totally head over heels (and got emotionally ripped to shreds for a couple years) was about 3" taller than me, slight belly pooch, amazingly physically powerful (never guess to look at him how strong he is) balding, blue eyes.
Really its who they are and their "presence" more than anything, that and truth be told, how they respond to me.Comment

I'd prefer a skinny guy over a body builder any day. Anything in between goes. I'm pretty nervous around tall people... I'd say within 10" of my height is alright for me(I'm 5'2).
As far as physical in general... what catches my eye before I interact with them at all is expressive eyes and strong(not beefy) shoulders. I tend to like unique features as well-- things others normally don't see as attractive. Hands.. I find long fingers to be beautiful... but worked hands... calloused and scarred are my favorite... I love the contrast to my own skin and I love the stories that come with all scars, love scars too.
I guess you could say a few details here and there are what attract me.. not the overall shape/type of his body. And if their personality isn't attractive to me... it pretty much blows physical attraction away.Comment

I am "reminded" of an old joke. A very pretty women approached a group of men at a party and asked:" What do you notice first about a woman?" The men replied:
" I notice her hair,I notice her eyes, I notice her voice, I notice her intelligence, and i notice her personality"
She smiled and said: " OK...I'm leaving before one of you tells the truth!"

I could never be a man who is skinny. Just no attraction to them at all, and even if I met a really nice guy who was skinny, it would turn me off him!
My friends use to kind of tease me, that I like guys with beer belly's, that was just because they're in to the muscular type.
But I like a man, who's naturally a medium size build, not muscular. Taller than me, but not by much.
Other than that, I wouldn't be too bothered about hair and eye colour. It's personality that captures the rest of me.

Not skinny. I am 22, I am not going to date a guy who has the emo skinny boy look going on. I like cops so that is probably the best description of what I prefer. Not giant gorilla arms due to working out 3 hours a day, just that built and healthy look without having the obnoxious "I have muscles now look at them cause I am cool" type massive build. That is just gross. I do not like red heads or very very blonde guys though. But I do like bald cause it can certainly suit some guys...like cops lol. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
