but surely if you repent (is that the word?) God lets you go to heaven... surely everyone who didn't believe in God and he turned out to be real they'd all feel sorry right? so they'd all go to heaven? I think alot of things are done because they don't believe in him...

Even so though, there's probably been loads of things EVERYONE'S done, including you, that isn't perfect (I tried to explain that in the other thread) which would mean noone will go to heaven would it?

We sin, but we ask God forgiveness, if I was sincere in my prayer for forgiveness (not only words coming out of my mouth), God will forgive me.>>

I meant repenting for not knowing he existed... I personally don't see Jesus as evidence, as he was around far too long ago. And the Bible could've been written by anyone. I would rather have firm proof. I heard somewhere that he is very forgiving and if you are truly sorry for what you've done he will not punish you or something.

And I don't understand why God would want us to fear him... I don't want to live my life in fear and I wouldn't want anything I had created to fear me... I'd want them to love me. You can't really fear someone you love... fear usually goes along with hate.
