Was your finger well groomed and adequately lubricated? Did you contact the cervix with your finger? A women may have a very sensitive vagina that will not take any rough play or objects. Using a finger to stimulate the clitoris may have a better chance of getting your gf to orgasm.

Could you please let us know what exactly you did (as per jns's questions) so we can guide you on how to do it next time? Fingering should never cause pain or bleeding.

If it's still sore a few days from now I'd recommend she see a doctor.

The vagina lining is very sensitive and using a dry finger roughly probably caused cuts and tears. Since the area is many times moist, it will take some time to heal. Mes_T or one of the other ladies may know better what types of salves and ointments can speed healing.

Hang on hang on, you should NOT finger a woman roughly if her vagina is dry. That is a recipe for pain, and who knows what else down the line. Infection?

I'm more interested in hearing your plans for modifying this for next time. She has to be wet, and you have to be gentle, unless she verbally asks you to go harder.

No, her pain and soreness is NOT normal.

There's no ointment that can help speed up the healing of this area. The best she can do is wash with water in the shower (no soap down there), and refrain from getting touched down there with any fingers or penises until she is completely healed.

Once a vaginal wall is torn (which sounds like that's what's happened), it can take several weeks for it to completely heal.

It's good that she stopped bleeding, but the pain indicates that it's still healing. You may have to refrain from touching her there for many more days to come.

One time I got hurt in a similar fashion in my vagina, and it took 3 WEEKS for it to heal.

You just have to wait. If the pain persists for another couple of weeks, then have her go to a doctor. She can go sooner if she feels she needs to.
