New male here...
Hope I'm not invading female territory!
I registered to offer some real world success with this. I promise to behave like a gentleman.
I have been married twice. In my younger days, with my first wife, I was always able to last as long as I liked. After remarrying in my late 30s, for some reason, I started to have a quicker trigger. This started after a couple years of marraige. Eventually, I could rarely last less than 5 minutes.
Prior to my divorce my marriage went through some stressful periods and I was placed on a SSRI (generic Paxil) for my anxiety. The only side effect I noticed was delayed ejaculation. I could last a very long time. Remembering this, I went to my GP and related my issue and my prior experience and asked him to prescribe it for me off-label. He put me on a very low dose (10mg.) I noticed no psychological changes other than I was slightly more mellow but my PE disappered.
Some may object to a pharmaceutical solution but it worked for me.Comment

Was the start and increase in your PE concurrent with your efforts to enlarge your penis (from another post)?New male here...

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

My husband would finish in about 30 seconds if he didn't pause and pull out. He has gotten really good at it though and rarely ejaculates uncontrollably. Yes we'd prefer it if he could go longer without the constant stopping because I am unable to orgasm during intercourse with him (I have but it is very rare).
Maybe you could get him to pause or pull out momentarily right before he gets to the point of no return? A good friend of mines husband has the same issue but he is 'large' as she says and he will just hold it in deep and she grinds and orgasms that way. I don't see why he'd have to be large for that to work though, unfortunately grinding doesn't work for me, in the past before I was married I could only orgasm from fairly vigorous penetration.
There are a few options before you start using creams and such. We have never had much luck with creams as they seem to desensitize me and he loses erection strength with them.Comment

I don't think so, but I suppose it's possible. Perhaps it made it worse. I remember having the problem before I started enlargement.
When I married for the second time the sex was amazing. If I didn't last long I could go another round without missing a beat. Eventually, the excitement of a new relationship wore off and that's when the PE started setting in. My wife used to jokingly call me the Energizer Bunny. Later, I was demoted to the Minute Man. I think it was at that point my insecurities started to surface. I realized I could no longer rely on my stamina to please and started to look for other alternatives.
The medical route was a Godsend for me. One pill a day and I could last as long as I wanted. PE was no longer an issue.Comment
