Just out of curiousity, how many women have labia minora that is longer than the labia majora, hangs down a bit?
And how many women have labia minora that is shorter than the labia majora or not visible.

I tried to Google to see if there is a statistic, but I got a ton of labiaplasty sites. Stupid.

Anyway, just from what I've seen, I'd say a shorter labia minora is slightly more common than a longer one, though both kinds are perfectly normal, if that's why you were asking.

I fit into this category. There have been some other threads posted on this topic as well. For men (and women) who watch porn, you will most often ONLY see very small labia minora's. There has been lots of labioplasty in the porn industry to try to suit what they think men want. I, however, have never had any complaints.

The majority would be smaller minora but that does not mean there is something wrong if a woman has either labia in a longer length. My minora is small but my outer labia are a bit larger, not long but more puffy and not flat I guess you can say. Porn has depicted that if you are not entirely, or very close, completely flat as in no extra labia minor or majora in any way shape or form then you do not have a "perfect" vagina. A lot of guys (especially younger ones) get all grossed out if one or the other is longer since they are mainly used to seeing the photoshopped or surgically enhanced variety...they kinda refuse to accept that real women will not look like that because they want the fantasy image to be so so so true.

Mine aren't small either. They don't go below the outer lips, it's about the same length. I've never gotten anything but compliments on how I look down there. Fleshier lips = more to appreciate and give attention to.

That would be me... Never had any complaints regarding my lips down there either, if anything they've gotten more compliments. I was for a while a bit self conscious about them, but not any more, they are what they are and part of me. So...

This is something I never thought about. I have only seen mine and my 2 sisters. Mine is small minora and so are my sisters.

I was shocked when I googled labiaplasty and saw all the variations. More shocked about how a woman would let them put her picture on the web. I had to clear the history on my computer after going to those sites. If hubby ever caught me on those porn sites he would have a fit.

The pictures are "advertisements" for the plastic surgeon that performed the labiaplasty, to show potential clients how he can alter the look of their labia. They're not there for anyone's sexual gratification.

Furthermore, those pics, as Tex described above, I've never seen any where it shows the patients face. So, what does it really matter? It could be me, it could be my neighbor, it could be my fellow soccer mom, you or anybody else, wouldn't have a clue.
