When my bf and I do end up in the bedroom I tell him I like the body rubs and stuff, and he knows that so he does it but sometimes he starts with the vigorous touching between my legs like 'I saw this in porn and the hot girl was screaming so you should enjoy this rapid movement as well'-he does not say that but it is the way he rubs that makes it seem like he got the idea the porn he may have seen. It is like how many times do I need to remind him that porn is fake, it is acting, they are paid to ooo and ahhh lol. I think men just want so badly to think that rapid seemingly quick instant arousal like porn depicts happens if they simply use the same moves on their SO. I will tell him okay slow down and he says sorry and does slow down but it is almost like he would love it if those moves actually worked as a switch type response instead of the slower, more intimate touching that I ask him for. The rapid stuff does not happen often but every once and awhile he will slip up and forget any lube, rub really fast and hard like in porn clips, then look at me and say "how aroused are you right now I want you so bad"...and I am like "uhhhh this is not a switch so I am not aroused because you are rapidly rubbing me without lubrication". And then other times he is much better and does take his time but there are instances when he simply wants to get right to it but I am a woman that simply is not aroused quickly so he gets frustrated.ause he, for the life of me, cannot figure out what turns me on.... Literally, we're laying in bed and he wants to have sex, and he'll tickle me and go you horny yet? .... "No....." well dang (censored lol) I don't know what turns you on!There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

Agreed. Men often have the notion that what porn stars "react" to, their girlfriend will too. I dont know about you ladies but smacking my leg with a penis raises more questions in the bedroom with me than my nipples. Lol if you are married, especiAlly, there he really should know how to please you. And try his hardest. And vice versaComment

Splitting up the "rounds" of sex between you, first time for him, second time for you, misses the boat completely - IMO.
Once men are willing to swallow their pride and learn how to please their partner, there is really nothing better.
If you're a female and your partner doesn't "get it" when it comes to bringing you mind numbing joy during intimacy, then buy him the book and ask him to read it. It will help.
While I'm not as well read as some in this forum, I have read and continue to read books to increase/expand my knowledge on sexuality. Especially those things that will increase the pleasure(s) for my partner because it doesn't get any better than that!

I have to agree with another poster that this misses the point. Sex shouldn't be about "my time of day and his time of day" but a joint effort. Why can't he get you worked up/off/excited/into it and then have sex with you? If he can get you to have an orgasm (or 4 lol) and then has intercourse with you, it's much more likely that you will have a vaginal orgasm because you will be more sensitive and worked up. I feel that sex should be a joint effort, not about who gets to get of during what time of day. YMMVComment

With the expanding knowledge through books, what do you do to increase pleasure when both parties have absolutely no interest in spiritual-type sex? Karezza, Tantra, pretending you have a ball of energy in you, spirit mingling and so forth...when both parties do not care for the material nor even believe in it. I am in that situation and I am at a loss for expanding my knowledge when literally every book or online source has to do with "tangle your spirits and feel the energy".I have read and continue to read books to increase/expand my knowledge on sexuality. Especially those things that will increase the pleasure(s) for my partner because it doesn't get any better than that! There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
