I know this needs to be done, but I am never "in the mood". When I do try to masturbate, sometimes I just don't get wet enough and I can't continue. When I am wet enough, I just do not "hit the right spot" I guess.
I will say this, it may be difficult for me to masturbate because honestly, I never was a fan. I don't know why, but it was a turn off at first (but even feeling that way, I did manage to reach a "climaxing" point twice). Now, it doesn't seem that way.
In regards to my upbringing, my house isn't "anti-sex" or very religious. My parents always acknowledged it would happen and never discouraged it. My mom had always said, it's a beautiful thing that feels lovely... It is disappointing I really don't understand the latter part...
My menstrual cycle was every 40 or so days when I first started having it. I wouldn't have cramps either. As the years went on it went to between 30-35 days and once in a while the day before I would bleed, I would have cramps that were "mild" I suppose. Also, I would go for seven days. My flow was very heavy the first two- maybe three days, then dwindle.
Now that I am on birth control I go for maybe five-six days and it isn't as heavy as before. By the fourth day I can usually use liners and be covered. I do have a bit more cramps and they are about the same in terms of pain... Maybe a tad bit more than before I was on the pill.
I am also not on any other medication, besides the birth-control.Last edited by Mouse37; 10-01-2011, 09:14 PM.Comment

I don't take any medications except for ibuprofen for a headache occasionally. My mom was very open about sex when I was growing up. If I ever had any questions she would always answer and explain, no matter what the question was. I got my period around 12-13 yrs old. Puberty was normal. There was a lot of arguing in my household while growing up. I moved out at 18. I've tried birth control in the past, several times actually, because although everyone says it lowers your libido, my doctor thought it may actually help mine because I would sometimes skip a month or two on my period but that hasn't happened for a while now. So I stopped taking it.
I masturbate on occasion but not because I'm in the mood. It's only because I know the end result will feel good. I do have an orgasm but it's like I have to force it because like I said, I'm never horny.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!Comment

I didn't see that she was on ortho... I'd suggest asking the doctor to put you on Ortho Cycline... Tri Cycline throws your hormones off because you go with one level of hormones one week, to a higher level the next week, and the next week another higher level, and then the placebo week which is no hormones. I agree with oxy- try ortho cycline.Comment

Actually being a tri-phasic pill, the 3 levels, means it will mimic your body even closer. Your body goes through several "stages" of increasing hormones prior to menstruation which is why the tri-phasic pills were introduced to increase just as your body would. Some people simply cannot go with a particular brand, just like some people feel absolutely zero side effects of anything. It is all trial and error. If a tri-phasic does not work out then try a monophasic like Alesse. There are tons of different brands a doctor can prescribe anything.Tri Cycline throws your hormones off because you go with one level of hormones one week, to a higher level the next week, and the next week another higher levelThere are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
